KRAFTON to Launch Abyss of Dungeons in Southeast Asia and Latin America in June
To launch on June 11 in Thailand, Indonesia, Brazil, and Mexico
New content, including PvP Arena and Boss Raid added based on player feedback
SEOUL, South Korea, May 14, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--KRAFTON, Inc. announced that its upcoming mobile title Abyss of Dungeons, developed by Bluehole Studio, will launch in four countries including Thailand, Indonesia, Brazil, and Mexico on June 11 (Wed.).
The new game title Abyss of Dungeons refers to the deep and dark dungeons that serve as the game's setting, symbolizing its core gameplay — exploring the unknown and fiercely fighting to survive. KRAFTON plans to gradually roll out the new name and logo across the game in the June update.
Abyss of Dungeons began its soft launch in the U.S. and Canada in February this year. Since then, KRAFTON has maintained close communication with North American players, implementing their feedback to introduce a range of new features — including a PvP Arena Mode, PvE Boss Gauntlet, Soulstone system, and the Stat Tree system that enhances character growth based on level progression. These updates have received a positive response from the community.
Driven by continued engagement with players and a commitment to delivering a more polished gameplay experience and higher service quality, KRAFTON decided to expand the soft launch service of Abyss of Dungeons to Thailand, Indonesia, Brazil, and Mexico.

Dubai Retains Global Top Spot for Attracting Greenfield FDI Projects in Cultural and Creative Industries in 2024
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, June 02, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--(Dubai Culture) Dubai has maintained its first place as the world's leading destination for greenfield foreign direct investment (FDI) in the cultural and creative industries (CCI), topping the Financial Times' fDi Markets ranking for the third consecutive year. The 2024 report, which assessed 233 cities under the 'Creative Industries Cluster' classification, placed Dubai ahead of global hubs such as London and Singapore. During the year, the emirate attracted 971 CCI projects—an 8% increase from 2023—bringing in AED 18.86 billion in capital inflows, up nearly 60% from 2023, and generating 23,517 new jobs, a 9% year-on-year rise. All major CCI subsectors saw stronger performance, with notable growth in advertising and PR, film and media production, gaming, education, and advanced software design. According to the Dubai FDI Monitor, greenfield, wholly-owned ventures made up 76.5% of all projects, while new forms of investment represented 15.4%, reinvestment 5.6%, and mergers & acquisitions (2.4%).
