Heading into Year 2 of his NFL journey, one particular analyst believes that a breakout is coming for a fully healthy and energized Coleman. Pro Football Sports Network's Jacob Infante believes second-year wideout Keon Coleman is the breakout player to watch in Buffalo. Advertisement "Amidst a loaded 2024 wide receiver draft class, Keon Coleman had a pretty low volume with just 29 catches," Infante said. "But he made the most of his targets, finishing third in the NFL with 19.2 yards per catch and scoring four touchdowns. 'The Buffalo Bills signed Josh Palmer and Elijah Moore in free agency, but Coleman projects higher than in 2025. A big-bodied target with tremendous ball skills and physicality, expect him to put up bigger numbers in Year 2.' Allen is a league MVP throwing players like Coleman the football. So long as that continues, the Florida State product should be able to excel in his second year in the offense. Perhaps an improved year from Coleman can get people to stop criticizing Buffalo for gifting the Kansas City Chiefs Xavier Worthy just a few picks before. With his first basket of Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night, Gilgeous-Alexander — the NBA's reigning MVP — reached the 3,000-point mark for the season, including playoffs. The milestone came on a 10-footer with 8:24 left in the opening quarter. He needed only two points to get there Sunday, after scoring 38 in Oklahoma City's Game 1 loss to the Indiana Pacers on Thursday. This is the 25th time in NBA history that a player has scored 3,000 points in a season. Michael Jordan did it 10 times, Wilt Chamberlain did it five and 10 other players — Bob McAdoo, Elgin Baylor, James Harden, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Luka Doncic, Rick Barry, Shaquille O'Neal and now Gilgeous-Alexander — have done it once. Gilgeous-Alexander also is the fourth player to score that many points while also handing out at least 600 assists in the same season. The Steelers may have waited around for Aaron Rodgers to finally sign a contract, but that doesn't mean he was their No. 1 choice. In fact, the ex-Jet quarterback was apparently Pittsburgh's third choice for the position, ESPN's Adam Schefter recently reported. The Steelers announced that Rodgers inked a one-year contract with the team after a lengthy waiting game, but the decision to bring in the four-time NFL MVP was out of necessity rather than choice. 'They were in on Matthew Stafford and couldn't get done a trade. They tried to re-sign Justin Fields, he opted to go to the New York Jets, where he will meet Rodgers on opening day.
