Katie Price fumes at Princess over purchase and says she's 'turning into me'
Former glamour model Katie Price has revealed her shock at her teenage daughter Princess Andre's latest purchase as she admitted she is 'turning into' her
Katie Price was left stunned by her daughter Princess Andre's latest purchase as she revealed her honest reaction. The former glamour model, 47, admitted her eldest daughter is "turning into" her now that she has her own money.
Princess, 17, proudly revealed she has passed her driving test and showed off her white Audi A1 complete with a personalised number plate. The social media star flashed a huge smile as she stood next to the flashy vehicle and told her fans she had bought it herself.
She was hit with claims her famous parents, Katie and Peter Andre, had chipped in yet insisted her hard work has paid off and that she was able to save up for the flashy motor herself. Buying the car wasn't the only treat Princess decided to have, however, as she also splashed out on a keyring.
It wasn't just any old keyring, as Katie was left lost for words when she found out the price tag. Princess revealed to her mum that she had forked out almost £300 for the accessory.
Katie gushed out Princess' achievement in passing her test before telling her sister about the splurge. "She's so excited, she ordered a b****y Louis Vuitton key ring for £290," she said on her podcast Houses, Horses and Harvey.
Her sister Sophie was taken aback by the price as she quipped: "I went straight to Halford's and got an air freshener."
Amid her shock, Katie joked that Princess was "turning into me". She revealed the teenager planned to have her "all sparkly pink" and said she would help Princess make it a reality. "She's a girl of my own heart," Katie confessed.
Katie was keen to express her support to Princess on social media when she announced she had passed her test. She shared her daughter's post on her Instagram Story and wrote: "So proud and so scared at the same time my baby girl turns 18 next month too so lots of exciting things we will be doing together."
Princess' step-mother Emily Andre, who has been married to her Peter since 2015, also shared her support as she left a series of flame and heart emojis, alongside the word: "Yay".
While hundreds of her followers were happy for her, a few trolls came out of the woodworks to claim her parents bought the car for her. "Let's just say mummy and daddy brought your first car," one said and another posted: "Wish I had rich parents."
After noticing the pattern, Princess took to the comment section of the post to hit back at those doubting her. She wrote: "These comments are so funny [laughing emojis].
"To everyone out there, yes I work and yes I earn my own money which I'm super proud of and so thankful that I'm lucky enough to buy my own car."
Peter previously treated son Junior to an Audi A1 for his 17th birthday - before he even got a driving licence. The Mysterious Girl hitmaker paid out for out for he car complete with a private registration and specially designed green calipers.

Peter Andre beams with pride as daughter Princess takes major career step
Peter Andre opened up about what's going on in his life at the moment - from proud father to controversial film and sobriety. Proud dad Peter Andre is no stranger to reality TV shows, and now the spotlight is turning to his daughter Princess as the family supports her new venture into the world of reality television. The 17 year old is set to experience her own taste of fame as she will be the star of a new fly-on-the-wall show. Princess has already been following in the footsteps of her famous parents, Katie Price and Peter Andre, as she has already spent the past two years working with brands - but now she is stepping further into the spotlight with a behind the scenes look at her life in her new documentary style program. Meanwhile, the dad of six has shared his thoughts on the recent ITV shows shake up calling it a "sad sign of the times" after it was reported that viewers will see massive changes to the daytime schedule, the Mirror reports. Here's what Peter had to say... Proud dad alert "We've been filming for Princess's new reality show and it's been great fun for us all. Obviously, as a family we're no strangers to reality TV - but I'm so proud of what Princess is doing now. I think people are going to really enjoy seeing it. "There's a few surprises in there, too, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone, so you'll have to watch it when it comes out - sorry!" Red carpet anger "I see the Denzel Washington incident on the Cannes red carpet, when he had a tense exchange with a photographer, has gone viral. We don't know what was said, or what triggered him - it looked like someone was maybe pulling on his arm? And sometimes you can't control yourself, when you're triggered. "I don't think I've ever lost my temper on a red carpet - but I'm not as popular as Denzel so I don't think people would be pulling me like that! I know one thing for sure, though, I've seen Training Day and The Equalizer and I wouldn't want to mess with Denzel." ITV shake up "There's been a huge shakeup at ITV, which I think is just a sad sign of the times, really. There's big changes every couple of years with formats and schedules because things are so fast-paced in the TV industry. "I think viewers are also less patient, so they might be watching shorter clips and shorter shows, and that has an effect. I love the likes of Loose Women and Lorraine, so long may they continue, as far as I'm concerned." Sobriety "Olly Murs revealed he's tee-total when he's touring, and I totally respect him for that. Once upon a time, live music was all about the party scene, all very rock 'n' roll. But I've met some absolute rock legends who are now tee-total - as am I. I used to love drinking loads of tequila and getting smashed after a concert back in the nineties, but times have changed. Now I'll have an espresso before I go on stage. Then I head home to bed, afterwards!" Screening controversy "The screening for Jafaican was in London last week and there was a huge turnout. Now that people have seen it, we've received a few apologies for some of the things that have been written about it, because now that people have seen it, they've realised it wasn't in any way racist. It's actually funny and heartfelt. Hopefully, now that people can watch the full film and make up their own minds, we can put an end to the controversy."

EXCLUSIVE Saoirse Ronan prepares for next major role as a new mum as she is spotted taking a stroll in London with husband Jack Lowden for the first time since announcing pregnancy
She's been nominated for an Oscar four times, but Saoirse Ronan 's next major role will be as a mother. The Irish actress debuted her baby bump on the red carpet in France last week, and these exclusive pictures show her stepping out in London with her husband, Slow Horses star Jack Lowden, for the first time since she revealed her pregnancy. The couple, who married last year and are famously guarded about their private life, were seen taking a stroll with their dog, Fran, near the £2.5million home they share in Islington. Saoirse, 31, who has been critically acclaimed for her roles in Little Women and Lady Bird, surprised fans by appearing heavily pregnant in a black silk Louis Vuitton gown at an event for the French luxury fashion house in Avignon. But the couple's outing this week was considerably more low-key – which is perfectly in keeping with their laid-back relationship. Scottish star Jack, 34, who plays River Cartwright in the Apple TV+ spy drama, wore a sports jacket with tracksuit bottoms and trainers, while Saoirse wore a comfortable outfit of leggings, cap and padded jacket. The couple are said to be 'thrilled' at the fact they are to become a family less than a year after they married in Edinburgh in July 2024. They met on the set of historical drama Mary Queen Of Scots, where Saoirse had the leading role and Jack played Lord Darnley, Mary's husband. In a rare insight into her private life last year, Saoirse described how it was her dream to be a parent. 'I became successful when I was quite young,' she said. 'It meant that by the time I found my partner, I'm at the stage where if it happened, I would like to have a kid. I've always wanted that.' Jack has described his wife as a 'force of nature, on and off screen'. Saoirse will next star as a teacher in thriller Bad Apples, and Jack – who has been tipped as the next James Bond – is to play Mr Darcy in the new Netflix adaptation of Pride And Prejudice.
