EXCLUSIVE Brooklyn Beckham's friends say they are 'not surprised' he failed to acknowledge David's knighthood - as Victoria and brothers shower father with pride
has failed to acknowledge his father David's knighthood after the huge fall-out with him and his mother Victoria.
While the former England football captain was inundated with congratulatory messages from his family across social media, including praise from his wife and two other sons, 26-year-old Brooklyn publicly remained silent.
Brooklyn's wife, American heiress Nicola Peltz, 30, followed suit.
Friends of the Beckhams say that they were 'not surprised' to see that influencer Brooklyn had again shunned his father – especially as they blame Nicola for controlling him.
But they are said to be saddened as Brooklyn knows what it means for his Dad to get his knighthood.
Sources close to the family are now waiting to see whether Brooklyn, who lives in Los Angeles with Nicola, takes to Instagram to wish David a happy Father's Day today.
'That's the next thing,' said a friend. 'He didn't wish his mother a happy Mother's Day so it's unlikely he will be in touch with David – but let's see.'
David's knighthood has given the Beckhams something to smile about after they were left heartbroken by the fall-out with Brooklyn.

He left his parents sad and furious when he and Nicola snubbed all of David's 50th birthday celebrations.
They did not attend a pre-birthday bash at Italian restaurant Cipriani in Miami in March, nor a big family party at the Beckhams' £10 million Oxfordshire home.
They also missed an idyllic trip to France and a dinner at Notting Hill, West London, restaurant Core.
Brooklyn also shunned a 'boys' fishing trip' to the Highlands with his father and his younger brothers.
Posh and Becks don't think they will have a relationship with Brooklyn for the foreseeable future.
But fashion designer Victoria yesterday shared her pride at her husband's gong.
It's a tribute that a decade ago looked unlikely to be granted after David blasted the honours committee for taking his name off their list, calling them 'unappreciative c***s' and insisted he 'didn't care about being knighted'.
However, that was all ancient history when in a gushing Instagram post, Victoria, 51, wrote alongside a picture of her planting a kiss on David's face: 'You've always been my knight in shining armour, but now it's official. Sir @davidbeckham!!!
'What an honour, I couldn't be prouder of you.
'Your dedication to the things that matter most – your country, your work, your passion and most of all, your family – has never wavered. The way you've touched so many lives over the years with kindness and humility speaks volumes about the man you are and continues to inspire us every day. But above all else, I'm so, so proud to call you mine. I love you so much xxxx.'
Son Romeo, 22, posted a photograph of him and his father dancing at a party alongside the words 'so proud of you'.
His younger brother Cruz, 20, went one better by posted two congratulatory messages on social media.
The first was a snap of David smiling as he sits in a wooded area. 'I'm so proud of you dad, I love you,' Cruz wrote alongside. He added: 'Sir David Beckham has a nice ring to it.'
In another post Cruz teased his mother, writing: 'Sir David Beckham & Lady Victoria' with a photograph of his parents on the steps of their Holland Park, London, mansion on the night they joined King Charles at Buckingham Palace for a welcoming ceremony for the Emir of Qatar, which David attended with his OBE medal on his chest.
David, who also has a daughter Harper, 13, is now in Miami, where he co-owns Inter Miami football team.
He is likely to come before the King for his investiture later this year.
He is expected to take Victoria and his parents Sandra and Ted, whom he credits for his footballing success, as his three guests, with a huge party to follow afterwards.

Hilarious moment father is mobbed by screaming fans after being mistaken for Pitbull at rapper's O2 concert
This is the moment a father was mobbed by screaming fans after being mistaken for Pitbull at the rapper's concert. Phil Mansford, 49, went to the O2 Arena in London last week to see the real Mr. Worldwide but ended up becoming the star of the night himself. As he strolled through the busy queue, people began screaming, pointing and leaving their spots in line to follow him, convinced they were in the presence of the rapper. Phil, wearing a suit and aviator sunglasses, played along and waved his arm around which further added to the excitement. People lined up on either side of them and recorded Phil with their phones as his friend pretended to be his bodyguard. Starstruck screams could be heard in the background. Phil's daughter, Niamh, 23, shared the video online on June 11 where it quickly attracted a staggering 2.6m views. 'My parents went to see Pitbull at The O2 with some friends,' Niamh, from Bedfordshire, said. 'He didn't sign any autographs, but he took selfies with people. 'People were grabbing him and high-fiving him.' She added: 'It was mad. 'He was a bit shocked to begin with but then he thought, "You know what this is brilliant", and just went with it. 'Everyone was cheering him through the O2.' As other concert-goers stopped dead in their tracks at the sight of the Mr Worldwide lookalike, he made his way up some escalators. Phil's friend filmed a video himself as attendees swarmed the floor below them. Phil, also from Bedfordshire, attended the concert on June 10. Since Niamh shared the video, she has received 390,900 likes and tonnes of comments from viewers. One viewer said: 'This is the funniest thing ever. Everyone screaming at the bottom.' Steph said: 'Omg I have a video of everyone going mad, all convinced Pitbull just strolled through the crowd.' 'Stop this is so funny,' Beth added. Fran said: 'I am dead this is brilliant.' 'Phil really said uno, dos, tres, cuatro,' The O2 joked. It comes after a Paul Weller fan told how staff at a curry house mistook him for the singer - and said he was forced to deny being the Modfather after being asked for his autograph eight times. Martin Carroll had gone to see his idol in Wolverhampton last year when he found himself at the centre of a bizarre case of mistaken identity. By the end of it, the 56-year-old, who has dead straight blonde hair just like the star, was screaming 'I'm not Paul Weller, I'm just Martin from accounts' but no one was listening. The saga began as Martin from Stratford-upon-Avon, was waiting for his mate near the concert hall when a chef appeared from a nearby restaurant and asked him to sign his apron. 'I told him, "I'm not Paul Weller",' said Martin, 'but that was just the start of it. 'My friend Carl likes a curry before going to a gig so when he arrived we asked if they were open, went in and sat down. 'One member of staff came over and asked for a picture when we got out starters and I told him that I wasn't Paul Weller but they weren't listening. 'When the bill came, it was about £110 so my mate and we went halves on it and I showed them my card. 'I even got out my phone to show them a picture of me with Paul Weller to show them what he really looked like. 'At the end of the meal, the restaurant owner came over with her daughter asking for an autograph and I told them too that I was Martin. I must have told them eight times.' But this was not enough to convince Bilash Restaurant that they had not just served a star. Within minutes of the snap being taken they had uploaded it to their Facebook page with the words: 'The legend Paul Weller here dining tonight just before performing at the halls. 'Thank you #paulweller for choosing us for your dining experience.'

Controversial Strictly star forced to slash ticket prices by 50% after show scandal meant tour failed to sell out
STRICTLY Come Dancing pros have slashed tickets to one of their upcoming shows after failing to sell out. The performance, scheduled at New Theatre Oxford tomorrow (Tuesday 17th June), will see two faces join forces as part of their joint tour. 3 3 Giovanni Pernice, who famously left Strictly after Amanda Abbington triggered a probe into his backstage behaviour, has teamed up with Anton Du Beke for a tour they've named 'Together Again'. However, tickets have now been slashed to 50% off via the Show Film First in order to fill seats, with £43 tickets now going for £20.91. At their most expensive, tickets were going for £143 each, but now available for just £53. The entire balcony has also been closed off in order to bring ticketholders down to lower (and typically pricier) seats. The Together Again tour will continue across the UK through to the end of July. Giovanni and Anton have been longtime collaborators, with their travel show being axed in the wake of the Giovanni scandal, despite earning a Bafta nomination. Giovanni has since been cleared of all but six allegations made against him by former partners, including Abbington. Whilst Giovanni was cleared of being physically abusive to Amanda Abbington, he stressed that it made last year 'a dark year'. He said previously: 'I'm not going to lie, there were dark moments in terms of, you know, this is finished, this is the end of my career. "That was one of my down moments. Sorry for my language but 2024 can f**k off," he added. "I've been looking forward to seeing the back of it.' Giovanni Pernice stands by strict methods as he reveals upset at not winning the Glitterball with 'brilliant' Amanda Despite the Sicilian dancer sharing his hopes to rejoin the series, The Sun recently revealed that Simone Arena is set to replace him. The hunky Italian, 33, is the boyfriend of Michelle Tsiakkas, 29, who is also on the show, will join in the Autumn as one of two new pros. But all is not lost for Gio, who managed to bag over £1million in the last financial year – his most lucrative to date – via other television appearances, dance workshops, and moving to the Italian version of Strictly, Ballando con le Stelle. 3

EXCLUSIVE Dancing on Ice star Chelsee Healey watches the father of her 15-month-old daughter appear in the dock as he is warned he faces jail for role in 'wholesale' drug-dealing operation
TV star Chelsee Healey watched on as the father of her 15-month-old daughter was warned he's facing jail for his role in a 'wholesale' drug-dealing operation. Eddie Rainford, 32, along with another man Jay Boyd, supplied large quantities of cannabis. Hollyoaks actress Chelsee, 36, who plays Goldie McQueen on the Channel 4 soap, had tried to keep his identity a secret with only his first name being revealed to fans, despite describing him as 'The One' for her and 'marriage material'. She was at Manchester Crown Court on Monday, where Rainford and Boyd were due to be sentenced. But the case was adjourned after judge Peter Horgan warned the pair they were likely facing an 'immediate custodial sentence'. Chelsee looked shocked and confused and struggled to make eye contact with Rainford from where she was sat in the public gallery. He's been on held on remand at HMP Forest Bank to await sentence after being recalled to prison. In January, Rainford pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug between November 2022 and September 2023 - just four days after Chelsee was eliminated from ITV's Dancing on Ice. Boyd has admitted the same charge and at an earlier hearing the court heard claims that the pair had played a 'significant role' in supplying 'wholesale quantities' of cannabis. After her Dancing on Ice exit, Chelsee had hinted at the tough time she had endured away from the cameras, saying: 'I feel, personally, there's been a lot going on with me that I've been struggling with, so I couldn't completely focus. 'I'm just really grateful, I've had the best time.' A source told The Sun that what Chelsee was desperately struggling with at the time was Rainford's being in court on drugs charges. She had had kept his identity under wraps since they started dating in 2021. His first name was revealed after the birth of of their daughter Cookie in December 2023 when Chelsee's Hollyoaks co-star Richard Blackwood shared photos of her baby shower on Instagram - with one showing Rainford. Chelsee also shared a selection of pictures on social media of Rainford on his birthday in April last year. And fans speculated that the pair, both from Salford, had secretly married when she referred to him as her 'husband'. After her Dancing on Ice exit, Chelsee had hinted at the tough time she had endured away from the cameras, saying: 'I feel, personally, there's been a lot going on with me that I've been struggling with, so I couldn't completely focus' Chelsee, who also has daughter Coco, seven, from another relationship, previously said of Rainford: 'This is the most supportive relationship I've ever been in. 'My friends and family love him, and he's the first bloke I've introduced Coco to, which says a lot. I knew he was 'The One' within three to four months. I've kissed a few frogs, but he's definitely marriage material.' In April, Chelsee returned to filming for Hollyoaks after taking an extended break. And she sparked concern among fans after saying she was 'putting on a brave face' and was 'on a downward spiral' in a social media post the following month. 'It's so hard to come on here and open up and let people know that you're vulnerable, and I feel like I've had a guard up my whole life,' she said. 'When I'm struggling I don't let people in, and I've always put on a brave face and I don't like people knowing I'm on a downward spiral.' Chelsee continued: 'I don't like people to know that I'm not where I want to be, so I just think it's very important to say if you do need help, please reach out.' The judge remanded Rainford in custody while Boyd was bailed and both will now be sentenced on Thursday.
