Wang made the remarks during a meeting with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair in Beijing on Monday, according to a statement released by his ministry.
He said all parties to the conflict must take measures to cool down the situation and return to dialogue and negotiation. Russia slams the United States
China's remark came hours after Russian President Vladimir Putin slammed the US attacks on Iranian nuclear sites.
The Russian president said there was no justification for the US bombing of Iran and that Moscow was committed to helping the Iranian people.

Putin told Iran's foreign minister, Abbas Araqchi, in televised comments that the US aggression was unprovoked. "The absolutely unprovoked aggression against Iran has no basis and no justification," he said.
"For our part, we are making efforts to assist the Iranian people," he added.
"I am very glad that you are in Moscow today, this will give us the opportunity to discuss all these pressing issues and think together about how we could get out of today's situation," he added.

'Remain Calm': Centre To 7.45 Lakh Indians As Iran Missiles Hit Qatar
New Delhi: Nearly eight lakh Indians live in Qatar, sources in the External Affairs Ministry told NDTV late Monday, shortly after Iran fired ballistic missiles at a US Air Force base in that country. The Indian community in Qatar has been advised to "remain calm and indoors". "In view of the ongoing situation, the Indian community is urged to be cautious... remain calm, stay indoors, and follow instructions and guidance provides by Qatari authorities." Indian officials in Doha said updates will be posted on official social media channels. Minutes earlier Iran's Supreme National Security Council confirmed it had fired ballistic missiles at the Al-Udeid air base in Qatar. Tehran stressed the attack had been targeted at the American military facility only, and that urban centres were not damaged. The strike, the Council said, it was retaliation for the US bombing three Iranian nuclear facilities Sunday. The Council's message has been seen as a message to Washington - that Iran is satisfied with these retaliatory strikes and is willing to stand down, i.e., not escalate this conflict further. According to the New York Times, US President Donald Trump, rushed to a secure Situation Room to monitor developments in West Asia, does not intend counter-strikes at this time.

Iran Says Used Same Number Of Bombs As US: A Hint At De-escalation?
Iran has attacked United States Air Force bases in Qatar with 'the same number of bombs the US used in attacking' its nuclear facilities, the West Asian country said late Monday, in a statement seen Tehran as telling Washington, D.C. it is willing to stand down after this attack. No casualties have been reported from the missile strike, an American official told news agency AFP, acknowledging "short-range and medium-range ballistic" weapons had been fired by Iran. Tehran's statement came shortly after its top security body confirmed it had launched a "devastating and powerful missile attack" on the Al-Udeid air base, which it said was removed from urban centres and "does not pose any threat to our friendly and brotherly country". The Supreme National Security Council's statement has been seen as a message - that the attack is only retaliation for the US dropping 'bunker buster' bombs on the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant - a heavily protected Iranian nuclear facility buried beneath a mountain. "In response to the US' aggressive and insolent action against Iran's nuclear sites and facilities, a few hours ago the powerful armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran struck the US air base in Al-Udeid, Qatar," the Council said, "... the number of missiles used was the same as the number of bombs that the US had used in attacking Iran's nuclear facilities". The US deployed its B-2 'Spirit' bombers to drop between five and six GBU-57 'bunker busters' on three Iranian nuclear facilities. The B-2 is the only warplanes capable of carrying the GBU-57. The US has not, so far, responded to the attack or Iran's statement. However, President Donald Trump has been rushed to the 'Situation Room' and is monitoring the Iranian retaliation. However, Iran's neighbours have condemned the attack. Saudi Arabia has slammed the "unjustified" attack on Qatar and offered Doha its full support, while Kuwait has said it is temporarily closing its airspace as a "precautionary measure".

China help to Iran exposed: Dragon provided 1000 tons of rocket fuel for Iran's Khyber Shaken missiles, reason is...
Chinese President Xi Jinping (File) Israel-Iran war: In a significant development impacting the ongoing Israel-Iran war, media reports state that China covertly sent about 1,000 tonnes of sodium perchlorate to Iran in early 2025. Reports also say that sodium perchlorate is used as a fuel for Iranian rockets and the amount is enough for Iran to produce roughly 260 Khaibar Shekan or 200 Haj Qasem medium-range ballistic missiles. As per a report by Aajtak, the Chinese shipment reached Iran's Bandar Abbas port via the vessels MV Golbon and Jeyran. Intended for the IRGC's missile program, the ships came from China's Taicang port to Iran's Bandar Abbas, bypassing the US sanctions. Critical role of Sodium perchlorate For those unversed, Sodium perchlorate is a very crucial element because once converted into ammonium perchlorate, it forms up to 70% of solid rocket propellant used in missiles and space vehicles. The large-scale transfer of Sodium perchlorate to Iran has significantly boosted Tehran's missile production capacity, raising fresh concerns about China's indirect role in regional missile proliferation. Readers should note that also exposed China's indirect support to Iran through military and oil and gas purchases. Iran launches missiles against US bases in Iraq and Qatar Iran has reportedly fired six missiles towards American military bases in Iraq and Qatar on Monday, furthering the conflict with Israel and the US. As per media reports, the operation was named 'Annunciation of Victory'. However, there have been no major impacts of the missile attack on the US bases in Qatar as American Patriot missile defence systems intercepted Iranian missiles. Reports also said that the US activated its air defence system at the Ain Al-Asad airbase in Iraq as well. Meanwhile, the White House has said that the US is closely monitoring threats to Al Udeid air base in Qatar. 'The White House and the United States Defence Department are closely monitoring potential threats to Al Udeid air base in Qatar,' an official has said. (With inputs from agencies)
