UAE real estate developer Arada delivers 120 new homes in Sharjah's $9.5bn Aljada project
Arada has completed The Gate, a two-building complex at the entrance of the AED35 billion Aljada megaproject in Sharjah, adding 120 homes to the development.
The Gate, which was completed at the end of 2024, offers one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments equipped with smart home features.
Handovers are currently underway to new homeowners.
Arada delivers modern living
The complex is situated at a strategic location providing entry and exit points to Aljada, with the Madar family entertainment district nearby.
Residents have access to green spaces including an adventure playground, outdoor gym, and dedicated jogging and cycling tracks.
'With a population that has now reached over 20,000, Aljada is clearly one of the most progressive and popular new urban districts in the Gulf. We are now working on the completion of further residential buildings in Aljada's creative district, including the Vida Aljada hotel and branded residences complex, which will be handed over before the end of this year,' Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada said.
The Gate features a screen-like facade designed to optimise natural light while enabling multimedia projections, creating a visual gateway into Aljada.
This completion brings Arada's total delivered units to over 10,000 in just eight years since the company's founding.
To date, over 7,600 homes in Aljada have been handed over, with another 1,600 scheduled for completion this year.
Earlier this year, Arada launched Safa, a new high-end apartment cluster featuring 660 premium smart homes across five buildings on Aljada's West Boulevard, which will feature shopping and dining outlets.
Aljada spans 24 million square feet and will contain 25,000 homes upon completion. The development includes residential districts, retail, hospitality, entertainment, sporting, educational, healthcare components and a business park.
