Emmerdale and Coronation Street CANCELLED tonight as soaps hit by schedule shake up
ITV has announced another major schedule shakeup as the soaps are pulled off air.
The broadcaster has left soap fans fuming after Coronation Street and Emmerdale have lost their coveted place on the schedules as sports coverage takes priority once again.

Instead ITV viewers can watch England take on Senegal in an International friendly football match at the City Ground.
Mark Pougatch presents coverage from Nottingham, alongside Roy Keane and Ian Wright.
The match with a kick-off time of 7:45pm forcing both Emmerdale and Corrie off the screens.
However, both soaps will be back on our screens tomorrow (Wednesday) in their usual time slots with Emmerdale on at 7:30pm and Corrie on at 8pm.
This week on the Dales, Cain is a prime suspect for his son's Nate's murder.
Widowed Tracy is convinced of her father-in-law's guilt, especially once the finger of suspicion starts pointing her way.
When her late husband's phone is found in her house, she defiantly protests her innocence and believes Cain is covering his tracks.
Jumpy John watches from the sidelines.

The popular actress Michelle Keegan played Tina McIntyre for several years on the Cobbles, but she ended up being killed by Rob Donovan in a tragic turn of events back in 2014 when he chased her onto the balcony of the Builder's Yard. When she tried to leave, he pushed her and she fell off the roof, with Rob convinced he killed her. With Tina still alive, he attacked her with an iron bar but she survived that attack and was rushed to hospital as doctors tried to save her.
Emmerdale - Who pushed Emma Barton?
Emma was then pushed off a viaduct by Moira after she talked ill of her dead daughter Holly, who died of an overdose in October 2017. Although Moira was responsible for Emma's death, her son, Adam Barton, took the fall for the murder since he was already a prime suspect and he didn't want Isaac to grow up motherless.

It was revealed to be doctor Lindsey Butterfield who had been killing people at the hospital.

Sam Fender superfan hyped for St James' Park gig
A Sam Fender superfan who has already seen the singer's current tour five times has said his hometown gig is going to be "one massive party".When asked by BBC Radio Newcastle how excited he was for the first of three gigs planned in St James' Park, Anthony Robson, from South Shields, said: "On a scale of 1 to 10, probably 100."He said it was Fender's lyrics which made him such a big supporter."I honestly believe his lyrics epitomise what it means to be a Geordie," he said. Mr Robson said there were "subtle undertones" to Fender's lyrics and he was "amazing live".He said he had seen Fender about 19 times in total, including his gigs in Manchester, Leeds and Amsterdam on the musician's current tour."I need more and more," he said. The Somerset book club still going strong after 50 years
A group of women in their 70s and 80s are celebrating the 50th anniversary of their book club and first seven members of the group met in 1975 and have since read more than 350 books, welcomed 30 members, met 500 times and consumed more than 1,000 bottles of of the original members of the group, Elspeth Davis, started the group as she was a new mother at the time and said she needed something else to "exercise" her mind."I've really enjoyed the variety of books we've read and the friendship and the camaraderie," said fellow member Jill Stanley. Ms Davis brought back the idea of a book club from Canada, where she had been living for six years. The group is named Lit - short for Literary Circle - and was first hosted at her home in the North Somerset village of Easton-in-Gordano."The variety of books is absolutely amazing and there are lots of books that I never would have thought to pick up," Mary Donaldson, who joined the group in 1978, although the readers have covered a lot of ground with their choices - from thrillers to poetry - the one genre they have failed to agree to try is science fiction. Members have formed a close-knit group, bonding over other shared interests, such as walking and Tuckwell was initially daunted by the number of books the group had read when she joined in the mid-1980s. But she said she came to realise that "sharing reactions to a book, whether you like it or not, is a route into friendship".

A Bridgerton star who successfully fought off a phone snatcher says fight training for acting roles helped her during the altercation. Genevieve Chenneour, 27, who plays Clara Livingston in the Netflix period drama, was waiting for a coffee at a Kensington branch of Joe and the Juice when 18-year-old Zacariah Boulares, of Fawns Manor Close, Feltham, snuck up behind her and grabbed her phone on 8 February. Speaking about the incident on This Morning on Thursday (12 June), Chenneour said that she has 'done a lot of fight training for work' and also revealed that she is an avid boxer. 'I think it was just an instinct', she said, describing the moment she retrieved the phone back from Boulares. She also teased: 'I think I have very quick reactions, thanks to having three brothers growing up.'
