Michael Vick and DeSean Jackson are returning to the sidelines at Lincoln Financial Field.
Delaware State announced Thursday that it was moving its game against Norfolk State to the home of the Philadelphia Eagles. Jackson is now the head coach at Delaware State and Vick is entering his first season as the head coach of Norfolk State.

The game was also moved from Saturday, Nov. 1 to Thursday, Oct. 30.
'This is a tremendous opportunity for our student-athletes to play in a world-class venue on a world-class stage,' Vick said in a statement. 'Coach Jackson and I made so many unforgettable memories together at Lincoln Financial Field — this stadium holds special meaning in my NFL career. I am thrilled to be a part of this historic moment and want to thank the Philadelphia Eagles, Norfolk State, and Delaware State for their collaboration to make this happen.'
Vick was hired as Norfolk State's head coach in December after the school fired coach Dawson Odums. Vick played high school football in Newport News, Virginia, before playing at Virginia Tech.
Less than two weeks after Vick was hired at Norfolk State, the Hornets hired Jackson. Both players enter their jobs at the MEAC schools with little formal coaching experience in the collegiate ranks. Jackson was an assistant high school coach during the 2024 season as more and more HBCUs are turning to professional football players to lead their programs following the success of Colorado coach Deion Sanders at Jackson State.
Vick played for the Eagles for five seasons from 2009 through 2013 after he missed the 2007 and 2008 seasons while spending nearly two years in prison following a guilty plea for his role in a dog fighting ring. Jackson was with the Eagles through Vick's entire time with the franchise as they both made the Pro Bowl following the 2010 season.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray named one of NFL's biggest enigmas entering 2025

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is perhaps the team's most polarizing figures. He might be one of the more polarizing players in the league. We saw the talent early in his career and has played stretches of seasons at an MVP level. But he also has had very average stretches, too. As such, Bucky Brooks calls him one of the seven biggest enigmas in the league entering 2025, players who flash greatness but are frustrating. The former No. 1 overall pick is a gifted playmaker with a pair of Pro Bowls and the 2019 Offensive Rookie of the Year award on his résumé. At times, Murray has played at a high level and captivated the football world as an electric dual-threat quarterback. However, the seventh-year pro sports a 36-45-1 career record and lacks a playoff win as the Cardinals' QB1, having thrown two picks and posted a 40.9 passer rating in his lone postseason appearance. Though his early accomplishments prompted Arizona to sign him to a blockbuster extension (five years, $230.5 million) back in the 2022 offseason, the Cardinals need him to provide more consistent excellence to justify the return on their investment in a league that measures quarterback success by wins and rings. Advertisement There are reasons for his uneven play. Injuries to him and key players in 2021 derailed their season, leading to their playoff blowout loss. 2022 was just a dumpster fire of a season for a lot of reasons, Murray's play included. But in 2023, he played the back half of the season coming back from ACL surgery with a roster that was gutted. He was better in 2024 but the Cardinals lost five of their final seven games and he turned the ball over more. He has been the quarterback to late seasons failures (2020, 2021, 2024), and while reasons can be given, he needs to shake that reputation. This season is important because the talent on the team more resembles what the Cardinals had in 2021. The defense has been overhauled and, when the Cardinals played great defense in the first half of 2021, Murray was the leading MVP candidate. Advertisement Is this the year he had things right and carries the weight as a franchise quarterback, or will he simply be the quarterback who is good but not consistently great enough to be the difference maker on a winning team? Steelers New QB Aaron Rodgers Sets Date for First Press Conference

Steelers New QB Aaron Rodgers Sets Date for First Press Conference originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The drama is over, and Aaron Rodgers is finally ... and officially ... a Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback. Advertisement On Thursday, Rodgers revealed he had agreed to a one-year contract with Pittsburgh. Then on Saturday, the four-time NFL MVP officially signed his contract with the Steelers. "#Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers will address the media on Tuesday afternoon following the team's first minicamp practice," Steelers senior director of communications Burt Lauten posted on X. The press conference will be the culmination of months of speculation and guesswork by reporters, insiders and fans. Rodgers was linked to the Steelers since the New York Jets announced he'd be a post-June 1 release in mid-March. He was also briefly tied to the Minnesota Vikings and New York Giants, but it seems like the Steelers rumors were always the strongest. Advertisement The four-time league MVP and 10-time Pro Bowler will finally talk to the media on Tuesday, and the question and answer part of that should be pure gold. For some, Rodgers' arrival means everything. Some pundits have the Steelers poised for a Super Bowl run in 2025. To others, it could mean more of the same. Another disappointing end to the postseason, or worse, no playoff appearance at all. Inside the NFL's Mina Kimes believes even with the addition of Rodgers, there are still questions on offense, namely, the rushing attack. 'None of this will work, even if Rogers does buy-in, which I'm skeptical of. None of it will work, regardless of what the offense looks like, if they can't run the football better than they did last year. And that's something that they've invested in,' Kimes said. Advertisement As I wrote after the announcement that he'd officially be a Steeler, he struggled mightily last year in New York and posted very un-Rodgerslike numbers. "Rodgers, who turns 42 in December, led the Jets to a 5-12 mark in his only full season in New York. Don't forget (Jets fans won't) that he missed all but four plays of the 2023 campaign after rupturing his Achilles on the first drive of the first game after joining the team two offseasons ago," I wrote on June 5. "Last season should be one to forget for Rodgers. He finished below the league average in passer rating - a stat of which he's the all-time career leader, and 31st in the league in QBR - behind names like Aidan O'Connell and Kirk Cousins. "His five wins last season are his lowest win total since 2017, when he played just seven games for Green Bay and posted a 4-3 mark. Rodgers' previous low win total was six, which he posted three times since taking over as the Packers' starting quarterback in 2008." Related: Steelers' Ceiling Questioned ...
