Roger Stone Suggests Democratic Senator Should Face 'Execution' After He Criticized Trump's Crypto Ventures

Roger Stone, a longtime ally of President Donald Trump, suggested Sen. Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.) should face 'execution' after the lawmaker questioned Trump's recent business ventures into cryptocurrency.
'Trump is cashing in on his presidency and making millions from his own crypto coins. It's corruption in broad daylight,' Kelly wrote on X Wednesday, promoting the 'End Crypto Corruption Act,' which he said would make it illegal for 'the President, the Vice President, administration officials, and members of Congress to issue, sponsor, or endorse crypto assets for profit.'

Earlier this month, the State Democracy Defenders Fund pointed out that reporting suggested the president's crypto offerings may account for nearly 40% of his wealth. The President has even invited people who invest in his $TRUMP meme coin to a private dinner at his golf club in Virginia.
'This bill puts forward a blanket prohibition on acts that could be self-serving in order to guard against conflicts of interest,' Kelly wrote in Wednesday's announcement.
In a responding post on X, Stone accused the lawmaker of 'treason.'
'Senator Mark Kelly is cashing in on his US Senate seat as a partner in a Chinese communist company that makes surveillance balloons,' Stone wrote. 'He should be charged with treason and if convicted executed , consistent with federal law.'

Kelly's wife and mass shooting survivor Gabrielle Giffords responded to Stone's comment on Friday, stating 'Trump and his allies should understand that the threat of political violence is real.' Giffords was left in critical condition in 2011 after being shot in the head in an assassination attempt.
'It stole a job that I loved. Inciting violence is unAmerican — it's what extremists do. Anyone serious about protecting this country should know the difference,' Giffords wrote.

Stone doubled down on his original statement in response to Giffords' post.
'I said he should be TRIED and if convicted, of course the penalty for treason is capital punishment. But of course you left that part out. Typical left-wing distortion.!' Stone wrote.
What I actually said, of course, was that your husband being partners with a communist Chinese company that makes surveillance balloons that are used to spy on America, which I believe is treasonous. I said he should be TRIED and if convicted, of course the penalty for treason is…

Trump Memecoin Wallet Spurs Divide Among Family's Crypto Camps

(Bloomberg) — There appears to be a divide among the various crypto-entities affiliated with President Donald Trump. Where the Wild Children's Museums Are Billionaire Steve Cohen Wants NY to Expand Taxpayer-Backed Ferry At London's New Design Museum, Visitors Get Hands-On Access The Global Struggle to Build Safer Cars LA City Council Passes Budget That Trims Police, Fire Spending The NFT marketplace Magic Eden said Tuesday that it's partnering with the team behind Trump's memecoin and other ventures to offer a Trump-branded digital wallet and trading application. After reports of the memecoin wallet partnership were published, Donald Trump Jr. said in a posting on X that the Trump Organization had 'zero involvement' in the product and that the family's World Liberty Financial crypto project will be launching its own wallet soon. A spokesperson for Magic Eden told Bloomberg News that the firm is working on the app, but couldn't share a launch date yet. A representative for which is run by long-time Trump collaborator Bill Zanker, didn't immediately return a request for comment. Magic Eden has worked with Zanker on his Trump NFT collections. Available at the app will facilitate trading in the Trump memecoin as well as other cryptocurrencies on major blockchains, and will let users self custody coins and manage their digital assets. The wallet partnership is the latest of several crypto ventures involving the president, his family or associates that have generated concern about potential conflicts of interest. Last month, Senator Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut accused World Liberty of reaping 'substantial financial benefits for its founders and the Trump family.' World Liberty dismissed the allegations. Three members of the Magic Eden team, including its Chief Executive Officer Jack Lau, attended the recent dinner with Trump and holders of his memecoins that inflamed the controversy about the president's crypto ties. The Trump memecoin was issued a few days before Trump's inauguration, and its market capitalization peaked at nearly $15 billion before crashing; it currently stands at $2.31 billion, according to crypto tracker The coin's issuer is pushing for its use in e-commerce and other applications as a way to increase its user base and usefulness. Last year, Magic Eden expanded beyond NFTs, launching its first mobile wallet app allowing for trading of NFTs as well as swapping cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ether and Solana. Then earlier this year, Magic Eden bought Slingshot Finance, a fast-growing mobile-first crypto trading app, competing with centralized crypto exchanges. Users who sign up for a waiting list for the app are being offered prizes in Trump memecoin, according to the site. Entrants will receive referral links, which they will be able to share with others, and successful referrals could result in winnings of the memecoin. —With assistance from Nathaniel Popper. Authorities are searching for a Washington state father of 3 dead girls

WENATCHEE, Wash. (AP) — A Washington state father is wanted for murder after his three young daughters were reported missing and then found dead. Police on Tuesday asked the public for help in finding the father of the girls, Travis Decker, 32. He is wanted for three counts of murder and kidnapping, the Wenatchee Police Department said. A police news released noted that it is unknown if Decker, a former military member, is armed. On Friday, the mother of the girls, ages 9, 8 and 5, reported to police that their father didn't return them after a planned visit, police said. Over the weekend, police looked for the children and Decker, who was believed to be living out of a white 2017 GMC Sierra pickup truck with Washington plates. Decker's unoccupied truck was located Monday near a campground, police said. During a search, officers found the bodies of the three girls. A search began for Decker. Anyone who may have seen Decker since Friday or knows his current location is asked to call 911. 'Due to safety concerns do not attempt to contact or approach Decker,' police said.
