Suaalii to miss Waratahs' clash with Crusaders due to concussion
Australia winger Joseph Suaalii will miss New South Wales Waratahs' Super Rugby Pacific clash against the Canterbury Crusaders next week due to concussion after he was stretchered off in his side's 28-21 loss to the Queensland Reds on Friday.
Suaalii sustained a blow to the head just before halftime when he collided with teammate Andrew Kellaway at Sydney Football Stadium, but Waratahs coach Dan McKellar said the 21-year-old had not required hospitalisation after the incident.
"We've got access to vision and the analyst told me pretty quickly that he'd got a knee to the head," McKellar told Australian media. "The medical staff were on there quickly and gave him the support that he needed.
"He's with his mum and dad now back home, so he'll be OK. Obviously he just gave everyone a fright; you don't want to see any player down on the ground, knocked out."
Suaalii joined the Waratahs this season after making a high-profile switch from rugby league's Sydney Roosters and is expected to feature prominently when Australia take on the British and Irish Lions in July and August.

Yes, it's 54 holes, but it puts a bit of pressure on that first round to get off to a good start because they are a little bit more of a sprint. "We're still playing a lot of golf away from tournaments, enjoying golf more and I think when you are enjoying your golf and it's not so much of a grind, that lends itself to better play. "I would probably disagree with Brandel Chamblee ... a lot." Leishman, whose best finish at a major was a tie for second at the 2015 British Open, felt he could be a title contender in Pennsylvania next week. "Obviously golf's a funny game and you need a lot of stuff to go right on the right weeks, particularly the major weeks," he added. "And sometimes even if you do have your good stuff and you make the parts and you get a couple of lucky breaks, someone can still go crazy and beat you so you need a lot of stuff to go right.

Marsh back to skipper Australia in Windies T20s, Cummins and Starc rested
Mitchell Marsh will captain Australia in next month's Twenty20 series against West Indies while Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Travis Head have been rested from the 16-man squad, Cricket Australia said on Wednesday. All-rounder Marsh had missed Australia's last T20 series against Pakistan in November, with wicketkeeper-batter Josh Inglis leading the side in his absence. Batter Mitchell Owen, 23, has earned his first call-up to the squad after his fine season with Hobart Hurricanes, helping them to their first Big Bash League title by scoring the joint-fastest century in the tournament's history in the final. Glenn Maxwell, who retired from one-day internationals to focus on next year's T20 World Cup, has also been named in the squad but there was no place for batter Jake Fraser-McGurk or all-rounder Marcus Stoinis.
