William, Prince of Wales is launching a new nature series called 'Guardians'.
The 42-year-old royal has created the six-part show for BBC Earth's digital platforms via his Royal Foundation's United for Wildlife program and it will tell the story of rangers who fight to protect threatened environments and do "one of the most dangerous jobs on the planet".

In a statement Prince William explained: "[I have had] the privilege of meeting a number of rangers throughout my life and have seen firsthand the vital work they do.

"Yet their stories are often overlooked or misunderstood. The reality is that protecting our natural world has become one of the most dangerous jobs on the planet. We need to understand and recognize nature's guardians and the critical work they do.
"The rangers we meet in this series are an inspiration to us all. Every day, they take huge risks as nature's front line of defense, standing between poachers and endangered species, supporting sustainable human-animal coexistence and fighting habitat loss.

"As they work to protect our oceans, our forests, our plains, our mountains and biodiversity, they are also educating, community building and furthering science. These are the unsung heroes - the true guardians of the natural world, defending nature and the future of the planet for all of us."
A synopsis of the series added: "As a digital-first series, each 6–10-minute episode offers exclusive access and first-hand accounts of the lives of rangers and nature protectors as they urgently work to conserve biodiversity and ecosystems.
"We encounter incredible individuals who make huge sacrifices to safeguard the planet's most threatened environments. From the snowy mountains of the Himalayas to the remote rainforests of Brazil, the series is filmed in some of the most breathtaking yet challenging locations that the Guardians call home, with each episode highlighting the pivotal role of these inspirational individuals."

BGT star KSI branded a 'terrible person' over awkward date admission

Britain's Got Talent is coming to an end tonight with the final of the 2025 series airing on ITV where a new winner will be crowned, after KSI stood in for Bruno Tonioli at auditions Britain's Got Talent's KSI has been called a "terrible person" after his date confession. The YouTube star filled in a guest judge on the show during this year's series. However, he has now been slammed for admitting that he maybe didn't deal with a dating situation in the best way. The star opened up about a time he went for dinner with a girl but he accidentally forgot his wallet which didn't go down too well. ‌ Speaking on Hits Radio, KSI explained the situation to hosts Will Best and Fleur East. He started out by saying he didn't realise until half way through the date that he has gone without his wallet. ‌ He said: "So it's when I was single, I went on a date but I accidentally forgot my wallet. So I didn't realise until midway through the date so we were having this date, I didn't really get along with her, we weren't vibing it was kind of awkward. "Obviously, I'd pay. Checked my wallet, there's nothing there, so I was like 'okay how am I going to do this?' So, eventually I told her 'I don't have my wallet'. Now, she's probably thinking 'oh this guy is trying to scam me,' so I promised her I was going to see her again." ‌ Fleur replied by saying: "You knew you weren't going to see her again," as KSI confirmed: "I never did." The trio then agreed that what KSI did was "terrible". KSI will be appearing on Britain's Got Talent once again during the final show this weekend. He will be taking to the stage to perform himself. ‌ Announcing the news on X the official Britain's Got Talent account tweeted: HE'S BACK!!! Catch @KSI while you can performing at the #BGT Final, coming at you this Saturday 31st May at 7pm on @ITV1,@ITVX and @WeAreSTV." The YouTube star first began his music career back in 2015 with the release of his debut single, Lamborghini, featuring P Money. However, it wasn't his first experience in the industry, having previously written and produced comedy rap songs for his YouTube channel. The boxer joined the Britain's Got Talent panel as a guest judge in February this year as he stepped in for fellow judge Bruno Tonioli who had to miss a few auditions due to schedule conflicts. KSI returned again last week where he was given the honour of Golden Buzzer duties. He chose to use his power to send one act through to the live finals. He was particularly impressed by magician Harry Moulding as he left the judges in utter shock as he performed an incredible magic trick which ended in a romantic proposal in front of the live audience.

Harry's move sparked 'furious reaction' from key royal who refused to see him

When Harry and Meghan dropped a bombshell, there was one member of the Royal Family who was so furious at the Duke of Sussex that they refused to see him at all, a new documentary has claimed It's been over five years since Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, announced their intention to step back as full-time working royals - and at the time, their decision sent shockwaves across the UK. For the couple, things inside the monarchy had become untenable, and something needed to change - but for the rest of the Royal Family, their public announcement that they wanted to adopt a half-in, half-out approach to royal life presented a massive set of issues. ‌ The Sussexes had been spending time in Canada before their shock announcement, and Meghan had to return to the country to be with Archie - leaving Harry to attend what has been dubbed as the Sandringham Summit to hash out the details of their exit by himself. ‌ A new documentary on Channel Five - Megxit: Inside the Sandringham Summit - has seen experts and commentators dive into what really happened behind closed doors at the summit, and what the long-term impacts of it have been on the monarchy. One expert revealed that there was allegedly one senior member of the House of Windsor who was left utterly "horrified" by Harry's decision to step back: his grandfather, Prince Philip. Royal author Andrew Morton claimed in the new documentary, "Prince Philip is someone who doesn't take fools gladly, and he was horrified that they had come to a situation where the Royal Family were deciding whether to split up or not." ‌ Another expert explained the late Duke of Edinburgh's feelings were so strong that he left Sandringham altogether, rather than come face-to-face with his grandson Harry. "Philip was so angry," explained journalist Emily Andrews, "that he refused to even be there. I was told that he just couldn't bring himself to see his grandson, he thought it was a huge dereliction of duty." Whilst Prince Philip always demurred to the authority of his wife, the late Queen Elizabeth, when it came to matters of the crown, when it came to private matters, said to be "very much the head of the family". Prince Philip had a very close relationship with both Prince Harry and his elder brother Prince William - as well as the rest of his six other grandchildren - and he was called "brilliantly effective" at helping the two brothers when they tragically lost their mother in 1997. ‌ Author Tina Brown wrote: "A member of the Balmoral staff [where the boys were when they received the news Diana had died] noted that Prince Philip, who had effectively lost his own mother at the age of 10 when she was committed for three years to an asylum in Switzerland, was brilliantly effective with his grandsons, offering them gruff tenderness and outdoor activities like stalking and hiking to tire them out". Equally, the Independent reports that during the planning of Diana's funeral, Prince Philip reminded those involved in organising the day that "It's about the boys, they've lost their mother." He also helped them on the day of the funeral itself, when he told them he would join them in the funeral procession, saying "I'll walk if you walk." ‌ However, despite their close bond, the year following the Sandringham Summit and Harry's decision to leave royal life behind that Prince Philip passed away - only a month after the Sussexes sat down with Oprah Winfrey for their bombshell interview detailing the reasons why they had chosen to walk away. Prince Harry returned for his grandfather's funeral, which, subject to social distancing restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, had a limited number of guests. Get Royal Family updates straight to your WhatsApp! He paid tribute to his grandfather in a moving statement, "He will be remembered as the longest reigning consort to the Monarch, a decorated serviceman, a Prince and a Duke. But to me, like many of you who have lost a loved one or grandparent over the pain of this past year, he was my grandpa: master of the barbecue, legend of banter, and cheeky right 'til the end." Megxit: Inside the Sandringham Summit, Saturday 31 st May, 8pm. Watch | Stream on 5.
