Sir Andy Murray has revealed that he is open to taking on another coaching role after parting ways with Novak Djokovic, but is not planning on making an immediate return to the world of professional tennis.
The three-time Grand Slam winner joined forces with Djokovic in a stunning move in November and was by the Serbian star's side as he reached the Australian Open semi-finals earlier this year. However, last month it was confirmed that the two had decided to go their separate ways after just six months and four tournaments working together.
Appearing at the Queen's Club Championship on the day that the centre court at the club was officially inaugurated as the Andy Murray Arena, the 38-year-old was quizzed on his split from Djokovic and whether he was open to pursuing new coaching roles, having been linked with British stars Emma Raducanu and Jack Draper.
In an interview with BBC Sport, Murray said: "I would do it again at some stage. I don't think that will happen immediately.
"I was not planning on going into coaching as soon as I finished playing but it was a pretty unique opportunity. It was a chance to learn from one of the best athletes of all time.
"You also learn a lot about how to work with a team. As an individual athlete, you have a team of people around you, but you're the focal point whereas when you're coaching an individual, you're working with a physio, physical trainers, agents.

"You need to know how to get your message across to the player and find out what makes them tick.
"That was the thing I learned and something I need to work on if I want to do it again in the future," he added, as he reflected on his stint as Djokovic's coach.
"It was a brilliant opportunity for me. We got to spend some really nice moments away from the court. Results weren't as we wanted but we gave it a go. We'll see about coaching in the future but I don't think that will happen for a while."
During his appearance at Queen's, Murray took to the court alongside former British number one Lauara Robson and two children for a ceremonial two-round rally, but admitted to the crowd that his tennis skills had already become a bit rusty in retriement.
'My tennis is diabolical nowadays," he joked. "So, apologies for what you're about to witness but I'll give it a go."
Reflecting on his new life away from tennis, Murray later added: "I've obviously missed being out here.

"It's the first time, obviously, not being involved in a grass court season for a while, but I've got a new life now and I'm enjoying being away from the sport a little bit."
It comes after the tennis legend revealed he has taken up a new role as a venture capitalist, becoming an an associate partner at Redrice Ventures in London.
In his new job, Murray will head up a group of athlete advisors - the Redrice Sports Collective - to help find investment opportunities, particularly in the sports business.

'I think that motivation has been there for everyone,' said Russell, who has been called up for his third successive Lions tour this summer. 'After getting that final and losing it last year, it is always quite tough to come back in that next year. 'But I think everyone came back in pre-season in good shape and kind of ripped in straight away. 'At the start of the year, the goal was to win the Premiership. We have gotten ourselves in a good spot just now to hopefully go and do that. 'We have almost got back to where we wanted to be and hopefully can go one step further this year.' Bath finished 11 points clear of Leicester at the top of the Premiership table, having won 14 games. Johann van Graan's side have already lifted the Premiership Rugby Cup and European Challenge Cup this season as they look to close out the campaign with yet more silverware. 'The playing group have been fantastic and it is great that everybody wants to play in the final, but ultimately, we can only select 23 players,' said Bath head of rugby van Graan. 'In our training again today, it doesn't matter what team you were in, everybody was in (to the session). 'Yes, some individuals will be disappointed, but that's natural. 'We see that as a positive, because everybody wants to play for this team and pulls in the same direction because they want to achieve something together.' City star thinks Liverpool are not getting 'world-class' player in Florian Wirtz
Liverpool will need to spend a British record transfer fee to complete the signing of Florian Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen, who was once deemed 'not world-class' by a team-mate Manchester City star Ilkay Gundogan believes Florian Wirtz is not ' world -class' yet, as the latter looks likely to join Liverpool in a record transfer fee. The Reds are ready to break the bank for Wirtz this summer, despite so far being unwilling to meet Bayer Leverkusen's £126.4m (€150million) asking price. Liverpool will pay £100m guaranteed to sign Wirtz as they look to close a deal, Mirror Football understands. But they remain locked in talks with the Bundesliga club over add-ons, the structure of the transfer and payments as no agreement is finalised. Wirtz has not yet been given permission to travel for a medical yet and nothing has been arranged. Liverpool submitted a third bid for the Germany international last week that consisted of £100m guaranteed with £14m in add-ons. And although it did not meet Leverkusen's valuation, it was not rejected. Talks have been ongoing between the clubs since it was lodged. Liverpool remain adamant in the talks that they will not pay the £126.5m asking price and are continuing discussions over the total amount of add-ons and how they would be structured. Regardless of how close the deal is to completion, Liverpool will have to break the Premier League 's transfer record for the 22-year-old, who has his heart set on moving to Anfield after turning down approaches from Manchester City and Bayern Munich last month. It is a mammoth sum, especially when considering that Wirtz's Germany team-mate Gundogan stated he is still not a world-class player earlier this year. Gundogan looks set to miss out on being club team-mates with Wirtz too, who would have filled the shoes of Kevin De Bruyne following the Belgian legend's Etihad departure. Gundogan knows Wirtz's game well, having played with both him and Bayern's talented Jamal Musiala for Germany for a number of years. He has a high opinion of both, but thinks that if either want to be recognised as world-class, they will need to join a club capable of winning the Champions League – something Wirtz hopes to accomplish if he joins Liverpool. "They're very close to world class. Maybe they are not yet there but they could be the best in the world in a short amount of time," Gundogan said earlier this year. "I feel like it is just proving themselves a little bit more. They are very young. Jamal has done a bit more than Florian because he played a little more at that high level. "When you want to be on top and admired as the world's best one day, it's necessary to win the Champions League and Jamal has already played a few years in the Champions League but hasn't won it yet. "For Flo, it is the first season with Champions League with Leverkusen. To be there every single year, to try to get to the semis and final and win it at one point is unavoidable to be world class. "Of course, they have the potential and the quality. I played with them for the last two years in the national team and both of them have everything and they prove it with their teams and the national team. They are both great guys and great characters so they will be there at one point." Bayern had previously been favourites to sign Wirtz before Liverpool stole a march on the Bavarians, while City ended their long-running interest in the player for financial reasons. Liverpool, meanwhile, have begun the summer transfer window in strong form with sporting director Richard Hughes already signing Jeremie Frimpong and young goalkeeper Armin Pecsi. Giorgi Mamardashvili will also join Arne Slot 's side, having agreed to move from Valencia last year.
