Former Teen Heartthrob Is Nearly Unrecognizable in New Mugshot
Tom Welling, a former teen star most known for his role as Clark Kent on Smallville, looks almost unrecognizable in a new mugshot taken after he was arrested for an alleged DUI over the weekend.
According to the police report, reviewed by TMZ, the once teen heartthrob, now 47, was arrested in the parking lot of an Arby's in Yreka, Calif. shortly after midnight on Sunday, Jan. 26, where law enforcement officers believed him to be driving under the influence. According to their records, his blood alcohol level was allegedly recorded at or above 0.08 percent, which is the legal limit in most states for drivers over 21 years old.

In the actor's mugshot, published by TMZ, Welling's short, salt-and-pepper hair is a far cry from the shaggy dark locks he rocked while starring in the Superman origin story on what would later become The CW, while his tight-lipped frown makes it hard to even picture the slightly crooked smile that once sent teenagers' hearts racing.
You may also recognize him for his work in the Cheaper by the Dozen film series, the 2005 remake of The Fog, or Lucifer, among others. Most recently, he starred in the film Mafia Wars alongside Twilight's Cam Gigandet.
Today he also shares two children with his wife, Jessica Rose Lee, who happened to celebrate her birthday on Sunday.
"Happy Birthday to our Angel who makes our dreams come true and inspires us even more!" he wrote on Instagram alongside several photos of his love. "We love you to the moon and back!"
Parade has reached out to Welling's representatives for comment.
