Kate Hudson's Asymmetrical Black Fringe Gown Is Giving Major Rom-Com Vibes
You can take the girl out of the rom-com, but you can't take the rom-com out of the girl. Don't believe me? Look no further than rom-com royalty Kate Hudson, who just walked the red carpet in a gown that looks straight out of How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days or Bride Wars.
Hudson made a stunning appearance at the 2025 Love Rocks NYC Benefit for God's Love We Deliver last night in a dazzling black dress. The glittering centerpiece featured an asymmetrical design with one long sleeve, a column silhouette, and long strings of floor-grazing fringe along the hem. She paired the frock with a smattering of gold statement rings, a matching bracelet, structural gold drop earrings, and chunky black platform heels.
As for beauty, the Fool's Gold star glammed up with smokey makeup, complete with bronzey eyeshadow, dark eyeliner, sun-kissed blush, glossy lips, and a fresh red-hot manicure. She pulled her golden locks back into a sleek ponytail.
Later in the evening, Hudson took the Beacon Theatre stage to perform. She made a complete sartorial 180, trading her shimmering dress for black skinny jeans, a black tank top, and a wide black belt. The crème de la crème of her ensemble came via a dark gray morning suit jacket with a dramatic long back.
The night doubled as a mommy-and-me date, as Hudson brought along her lookalike 6-year-old daughter Rani. They posed backstage with Amy Schumer, who was clad in a black-and-blue striped dress. Rani looked like Hudson's mini-me in a brown t-shirt and light blue jeans.
Hudson shares Rani with her fiancé Danny Fujikawa. She also has a 21-year-old son named Ryder, whom she shares with her ex-husband Chris Robinson, and a 12-year-old son named Bingham, whom she shares with her former fiancé Matt Bellamy.
Recently, while appearing on Kylie Kelce's podcast Not Gonna Lie, the actress shared she "loves having kids" and "can't imagine being done."

There's only one Jordon Hudson confidant willing to talk about her — here's what he said
There have been many descriptors added to Jordon Hudson's name over the past 12 months as her relationship with Bill Belichick has come under intense scrutiny. For the lone Hudson confidant who has spoken publicly about the former college cheerleader, one label transcends new heights. 'I consider her a supernova,' celebrity hairstylist Dougie Freeman, who likened his one-time employee to the phenomenon described by NASA as the 'extremely bright, super powerful explosion of a star,' said in a new interview with The Athletic. Getty Images for the American Museum of Natural History 'Our motto here at the salon is, 'Let us help you use what you've got to get what you want' … and maybe Jordon Hudson is a good example of that.' Advertisement Hudson, who shot to fame in the summer of 2024 when her romance with the 73-year-old Belichick became public, began working at Freeman's West End Salon & Spa in Provincetown, Mass., when she was still in high school. 5 Dougie Freeman worked with Jordon Hudson. Facebook/West End Salon and Spa Freeman believes the Massachusetts town, regarded as one of the most welcoming and friendly LGBTQ+ locales in the country, helped to broaden Hudson's horizons. 'Growing up in this town, she saw how alternative relationships work. They can work,' Freeman said. 'I think that validated it for her.' Advertisement Freeman is one of the few connected to Hudson who has opened up about the Miss Maine USA contestant, with The Athletic noting the 'dozen-plus friends of Hudson' whom they reached out to did not get back to the outlet. 5 Jordon Hudson's profile has continued to rise amid her relationship with Bill Belichick. WireImage 'She seems to be doing fine,' said Freeman, who 'last spoke to Hudson via a series of internet DMs,' per The Athletic. 'She said, 'I understand you're going to do an interview with the Washington Post.' And I said, 'I said a lot of nice things about you, I think you'll be pleased with it.' And I assume she was.' Advertisement Hudson has been by Belichick's side as he prepares for his first season coaching North Carolina's football team. 5 Bill Belichick with Jordon Hudson in March 2025. Getty Images Although there has been much speculation about Hudson's role in Chapel Hill — much of which began after a disastrous 'CBS Sunday Morning' appearance in April, when she punted a question about the origins of the Belichick relationship — the eight-time Super Bowl winner clarified her position in an ESPN interview last month. 'That's really off to the side, it's a personal relationship. She doesn't have anything to do with UNC football,' Belichick said. With the Tar Heels' season opener against TCU approaching on Sept. 1, all eyes remain on Belichick and Hudson — something Freeman cautioned as her star continues to rise. 'Fame comes with some barbs,' he said. 'And it doesn't always come with fortune.' Hudson and Belichick first crossed paths aboard a flight in 2021. They celebrated their four-year meet-iversary in February.

King Charles Makes Major Change to Trooping the Colour Tradition, Signaling the End of an Era
King Charles will be celebrated at Trooping the Colour on June 14—the annual birthday parade for the monarch. 2025 will mark the King's third birthday parade since taking the throne on September 8, 2022. Amid his ongoing cancer treatment, Charles will no longer ride in the parade on horseback, and will instead ride in a carriage alongside wife Queen he continues treatment for cancer following his 2024 diagnosis, King Charles will make a permanent change for Trooping the Colour, the annual birthday parade held in his honor every June. The King—who The Times noted is 'one of the royal family's most accomplished equestrians'—will no longer ride on horseback at the yearly event, with the outlet reporting he 'has hung up his riding boots.' Instead, Charles will travel in a carriage for the procession from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade and back at the event, which this year is on June 14. 'He is not expected to ride at the parade again,' the publication added. The King rode on horseback in 2023 for his first Trooping the Colour as sovereign; his mother, Queen Elizabeth, hadn't ridden on horseback since 1986, the year she turned 60 years old. Afterwards, the Queen traveled via carriage from 1987 until her last Trooping the Colour in 2022, which also doubled as her Platinum Jubilee celebrating her historic 70 years on the throne. Following his cancer diagnosis—which was announced publicly on February 5 of last year—the King rode in a carriage; this announcement makes that change permanent, it seems. Meanwhile, the King's sister Princess Anne—who turns 75 years old in August—plans to ride on horseback this year alongside Prince William. This will be the Princess Royal's first public appearance on horseback since her accident involving a horse last June that left her with a concussion and in the hospital for five days. The Telegraph reported that Charles' weekly cancer treatment—while it continues in a 'very positive direction, as reflected with the very full national and international diary program,' as the palace put it—will likely last for the remainder of his life. According to the outlet, it is understood that 'he may die 'with' cancer, but not 'of' cancer,' the publication reported, with The Telegraph adding that Charles and his wife Queen Camilla are likely to never move into Buckingham Palace following the completion of its restoration in 2027. That said, there's hope that the King isn't going anywhere anytime soon—tentative planning has begun for his 80th birthday celebrations, which will take place in 2028, and there's even talk that Charles might reunite with his son Prince Harry when the Duke of Sussex travels to the U.K. for the 2027 Invictus Games, which will take place in Birmingham, England.
