Zoujaj to rebuild, expand Furnace 01 for SAR 58.5M
The board of directors of National Co. for Glass Industries (Zoujaj) approved the expansion and reconstruction project of Furnace 01.
The project will extend the furnace's length from 65.5 meters to 84.5 meters, increasing its production capacity from 210 tons per day to 280 tons per day, at an estimated cost of approximately SAR 58.5 million, Zoujaj said in a statement to Tadawul.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the project will be carried out by Techglass (SORG), with construction set to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026 and completion anticipated in the first quarter of 2027.
The company also noted that the method of financing will be disclosed at a later date. It expects the project to have a positive financial impact, with a projected 5% increase in sales beginning in the first quarter of 2027.
Trial production is scheduled to start in Q1 2027 and will last for approximately 15 days, followed by the commencement of commercial production within the same quarter.

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia's Tadawul All Share Index gained 0.49 points on Wednesday, closing at 11,005.02. A negotiated deal indicates the purchase of a stock based on an agreement between buyers and sellers, apart from the market price. These agreements are executed under the control of Tadawul and in accordance with capital market laws and regulations. The share price of ACWA Power declined by 5.34 percent to SR255.40. Ades Holding Co. saw its share price drop by 0.74 percent to SR13.48. The stock price of Saudi Kayan Petrochemical Co. edged up by 0.40 percent to SR4.96.

Edaa adjusts Marble Design's nominal value
The Securities Depository Center Co. (Edaa) applied today, June 11, the stock measures to Marble Design Co. 's securities, adjusting the stock's nominal value in eligible shareholder accounts, according to a statement to Tadawul. The company's shareholders approved reducing the stock's nominal value from SAR 10 to SAR 1, Argaam earlier reported.
