Love Island chaos as four islanders dumped in cruel twist

One Islander has been brutally dumped from the famous villa after the unexpected 'Sleepover' which has rocked not one, but several connections on Love Island. Fans of the ITV2 show have been left shocked by the fallout of the past couple of days as four contestants have now been sent packing after a drama-filled switch-up. In tonight's episode, the Islanders got to know the Bombshells even better through a game of Truth or Dare at The Sleepover. Dejon dared Remell to kiss an Islander of his choice and he decided to kisse Poppy. Remell then dared Helena to do her favourite sex position with Giorgio. Poppy kissed Dejon after being dared to kiss the person she's most attracted to other than the person she chose. Giorgio then dared Dejon to kiss the Islander he's most attracted to and he snogged Caprice and they both rate it 10/10. Dejon asked Remell who he would choose between Alima and Poppy if there was a recoupling and he hesitated but said Poppy. However, later on, Dejon and Remell caught up around the Firepit as Remell said: 'I'm loving the chats with Poppy, flirty, chill…I don't want to leave with regrets which is why I'm giving Poppy the time of day.' Dejon told his pal: 'You've got to look long term… whoever you see a long term future with, that's the one you pursue.' Remell then asked how he's feeling about Caprice. Dejon said: 'What me and Caprice have could be something good, but what me and Meg have is something special.' Later that evening, Remell and Poppy chatted on the sunbeds as he told her: 'I've been comfy around you, it's the first time in the Villa that I've felt like this so it's telling me something.' At The Sleepover Villa, Maya then made a shock entrance taking the Islanders by surprise. She asked the group: 'Having some time away has allowed you to explore new connections, but are these connections stronger than what you have with your current partner?' Maya reminded those at The Sleepover that 'actions have consequences" before all of the drama broke out. After Maya asked the islanders to make their decisions on who they want to couple up with after spending a couple of days with the new bombshells, it was met with shock and panic from the four original islanders. The islanders in the villa then got a text to gather at firepit and await the news sleepover villa. They were informed that Helena had decided to pick bombshell Giorgio and Dejon decided to stay with Meg. Meanwhile, Remell took a lot longer to decide but in the end, he chose to stick with Alima. And after flirting her way through the Sleepover villa, Emily decided to stick with Conor - not knowing that he has kissed Megan on the terrace, not once, but twice. The main villa then got a text confirming that because Helena chose to couple up with the new bombshell, Shea was now single and was dumped from the island along with the three Sleepover bombshells.

Blind Date reboot set for huge return with Love Island inspired twist

Iconic dating show Blind Date is set for another reboot with it said to be getting a Love Island-style twist when it airs on Disney+ One of the most iconic gameshows is set to return to our screens, but with a twist. Fans of eighties television will be buzzing at the news that Blind Date is set for a reboot. The dating show which was hosted by Cilla Black is set for a revival. However, instead of its previous ITV home, the show is set to appear on Disney+. ‌ And in a dramatic twist, the show will see contestants spend time on a tropical island as hopefuls compete for a dream wedding on the golden sands. An insider claims the show will have "hints of Love Island about it". ‌ Talking to the Sun, the source said it's a "radical departure" from the old style Blind Date. They told the publication: "But fans will recall a lot of the dates took place in hot, sunny climes abroad, and producers want to recapture some of the steamy fun, and expand upon that. 'Even the wedding element has hints of the old show, because the dream was always that the dates on the programme would lead to couples tying the knot.' And they added that not all of the old characteristics will be eliminated, with plans still set to incorporate the show's famous sliding wall. The source went on to say the show's producers hope to "hire a top female host just like Cilla". It's said a star-studded line-up of female hosts are being eyed up to step into Cilla's shoes. Among those being rumoured are Holly Willoughby, Davina McCall and The Traitors ' Claudia Winkleman. It's unknown whether the show will provide a replacement for voiceover Graham Skidmore, aka 'Our Graham'. ‌ The show's return was speculated earlier this month, 22 years after it last aired. The ITV show originally aired on Saturday nights from 1985-2003. At the time, saw hundreds of couples meet for the first time looking for love. Like most dating shows, many didn't last past the studio doors, however a number of couples did make it all the way to the alter. Any reboot won't be the first time the show has been revived. Most recently, in 2017, the show made its return on Channel 5. It came two years after the death of original host Cilla Black - with Paul O'Grady replacing the late host. Melanie Sykes also joined the show as a replacement for 'Our Graham' providing the iconic voiceover. The show ran for four series until June 2019. Original voiceover Graham died in 2021 at age 90, seven years after the death of host Cilla Black in 2015.

BREAKING NEWS Jailed Love Island star Cashel Barnett accused of sexually assaulting his ex in front of their child

Love Island star Cashel Barnett has been hit with a new sexual assault charge after he was thrown in jail last month for allegedly beating his ex. Barnett, 34, who appeared on season one of the dating show in 2019, was originally booked into Salt Lake City jail in Utah after he 'choked' the mother of his one-year-old child in front of the youngster on April 10. He was charged with felony aggravated assault, domestic violence in the presence of a child and two counts of misdemeanor assault. Utah prosecutors have now levelled three new charges against Barnett involving the same alleged victim - first-degree aggravated sexual assault, third-degree aggravated assault, and third-degree domestic violence in the presence of a child between November and December 2024. Barnett has denied all the charges. Per court documents obtained by Barnett allegedly grabbed his ex-girlfriend from behind, pushed her head into the couch rendering her unconscious, before 'violently' raping her in front of their child in December 2024. It was claimed this came after he 'withheld any physical contact for a month' after the alleged victim 'asked him to get a job to help support their child.' Per the alleged victim's statement, the alleged assault began when Barnett 'put his hands down the victim's pants' and when she kissed him back, he allegedly shoved her off the couch and told her 'she didn't 'get that' because she was 'in trouble".' The victim claims she told Barnett he was 'being manipulative' and when she tried to walk to her bedroom, Barnett allegedly 'grabbed both of her hands from behind her, demonstrated the handcuff position, then picked her up and did a 'swoop onto the couch.'' Per the statement Barnett then pulled his pants down and screamed at her 'Is this what you f*****g want?' and 'Are you f*****g happy now?' The alleged victim said due to being forced into the couch she couldn't breathe and lost consciousness for approximately one minute. She claimed she was woken when Barnett 'sat her up, slapped her across the face really hard and just kept going.' The alleged victim claims Barnett 'violently' raped her and strangled her again, leaving her 'lightheaded.' The statement claims the assault only stopped when she 'grabbed their one-year-old child, who was crying.' Barnett is being held without bail and will be arraigned this week. has contacted Barnett's representatives for comment and has yet to hear back. His attorney told TMZ in a statement:'Mr. Barnett maintains his innocence and denies any wrongdoing. 'My client and his family are enduring an incredibly difficult time, and we hope that his privacy will be respected as we work diligently to defend his name and reputation.' Last month Barnett was accused of arguing with the mother of his child, before she tried to hug him to 'calm him down' during the alleged April 10 incident, per KUTV. She claims he then 'slapped her arms away' and when she walked away, he allegedly picked her up by the neck and threw her onto the bed She claims he continued to apply pressure on her neck so she was unable to 'breathe or see clearly.' She claims Barnett then slapped her in the face and told her 'you're fine'. Following the alleged incident, the victim said she experienced coughing, trouble swallowing, neck pain, nausea, vomiting, memory loss, and a headache. Prosecutors wrote in court documents: 'The report of strangulation is particularly concerning. Injuries related to strangulation can be serious, yet not necessarily apparent. 'Victims who have been non-fatally strangled are 7.5 times more likely to become a subsequent victim of homicide at the hands of the same abusive partner.' 'The State believes that the victim will likely suffer further domestic abuse at the hands of the defendant should he remain out of custody. Therefore, the State requests that the defendant be booked and held without bail' prosecutors argued. As well as Love Island, he appeared on The Challenge in 2022 and now works as a model and musician.
