Bengals' updated roster by jersey number as OTAs start
The Cincinnati Bengals start OTAs on Tuesday, ushering in a new era and roster ahead of this summer's training camp.
As of this writing, the team's roster count sits at 91, with the team awarded an extra spot for Dante Barnett via the NFL's International Player Pathway program.
The majority of the roster projects to take part in the proceedings, too. Exceptions are first-round pick Shemar Stewart, Trey Hendrickson and Germaine Pratt.

Williams' inbox: Bad look for Joe Burrow to miss Cincinnati Bengals practice for Met Gala?

Ask columnist Jason Williams anything − sports or non-sports – and he'll pick some of your questions and comments from his inbox and respond on Email: jwilliams@ Subject: Joe Burrow misses Cincinnati Bengals practice for Met Gala Message: Call me old school, but I didn't like that (Joe) Burrow missed the team's practice to be at the Met Gala. I get it's optional, but Tee (Higgins) and Ja'Marr (Chase) were there. Don't you think it would've sent a strong message to the fans and rookies for Burrow to be there, too? Advertisement Reply: It really wasn't a big deal. Burrow was back at Paycor Stadium for voluntary practice on Wednesday. Yeah, I understand it may have looked odd for a hard-working, team-first superstar like Burrow to miss practice for a New York City fashion show. Here in flyover country, we don't really like our sports heroes showing up on the red carpet. But it's early May and Burrow has certainly built up enough locker-room goodwill that no one inside the Bengals organization is questioning his priorities. He also gave the team a heads up that he would miss the first few voluntary team sessions. Burrow is expected to attend most of the practices over the next month. Now, if you want to question Burrow's fashion sense, have at it. Dude wears some ugly stuff, although I liked the classy suit he wore at the Met Gala. Advertisement And before the fake-name, costume-wearing Bengals fans take to social media and rip me, I'm joking. Burrow can wear whatever the heck he wants. It's not hurting me. Just like it didn't bother me one bit when he posed for a photo with Donald Trump last year. Bengals, Trey Hendrickson holdout tabbed a '10' on panic meter

The standoff between the Cincinnati Bengals and Trey Hendrickson has gotten ugly, to the point of publicly traded barbs before falling silent again. All signs point to things heading toward a holdout. And while Bengals fans might get a little deja vu from that idea because things followed a similar course last year before no holdout at all, this offseason might be different. Advertisement At every turn, Hendrickson has expressed dissatisfaction not just with his contract, but communication from the Bengals as a whole, implying broken promises and a lack of contact. That's why the panic meter on a Hendrickson holdout has earned a 10 out of 10 from Bleacher Report's Moe Moton: "The four-time Pro Bowler seems willing to incur fines and miss extended time to get what he believes was promised behind closed doors. Despite his age, Hendrickson has the most leverage he will ever have in his career after leading the NFL with 17.5 sacks last season." RELATED: Bengals UDFA is already turning heads at OTAs It's a fair assessment, all things considered. Hendrickson might actually stick to his game plan this time and not attend mandatory work soon or training camp next month, incurring fines from the team as he goes. Advertisement The question, really, though, is whether that matters. Hendrickson will, after all, risk sacrificing a big chunk of his 2025 salary and his possible value to other teams before he turns 31 in December, should he sit out. For better or worse, the Bengals know this bit of leverage and might be more than happy to use it. No matter what happens, the Bengals indeed have one of the more precarious-looking holdout situations in the NFL right now, considering how much is at stake for the franchise on the field in 2025.
