LUKA MODRIC is set to undergo a medical at AC Milan after the Club World Cup, according to reports.
The Croatian, 39, has already announced that he will leave Real Madrid following the conclusion of the revamped tournament in the US.

Despite his upcoming exit, Modric has been included in new boss and former team-mate Xabi Alonso's Club World Cup squad.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the midfielder has agreed to join AC Milan upon the expiry of his Real Madrid contract.
The former Tottenham star does not want to make the switch official or undergo a medical yet, however, as he is determined to focus on Real until the very end of his time there.
Alonso's men begin their Club World Cup campaign by facing Al-Hilal in Miami on June 18.
They will then play further matches against Pachuca and RB Salzburg - with the final scheduled for July 13.
Despite interest from Saudi Arabia and MLS, Modric has decided to keep playing in Europe.
The Croatia icon would like to represent his country at next summer's World Cup, by which time he will be 40-years-old.
Modric joined Real Madrid from Spurs in 2012 and has since gone on to make 591 appearances for Los Blancos.

The dynamic midfielder has won the Champions League a staggering six times during his career, while he also earned the Ballon d'Or in 2018.
Despite his veteran status, Modric made 57 appearances for Real in all competitions this season, including 35 in LaLiga.

The experienced playmaker wore the captain's armband on several occasions under former boss Carlo Ancelotti.
While Modric will continue to play at a high level for AC Milan, he has also begun to consider life after professional football.
In April it was confirmed that the global superstar had purchased a minority stake in Championship side Swansea City.
SunSport then revealed that Modric was set to buy a £1.1million house on the outskirts of the Welsh city.

As the season then unfolded, with City suffering an uncharacteristic blip – failing to put up a strong defence of the Premier League title they had won for the previous four years and exiting the Champions League before the last 16 – it looked like they would need the break to regroup. Yet as the time has neared, no doubt helped by the announcement the winners of FIFA's latest showcase event could pocket close to £100million, the tone has changed. If Pep Guardiola has reservations about fixture congestion, injuries and a lack of preparation time for next season – all more than hinted at over the past season – he is now keeping them to himself. 'This is a very, very serious competition,' the City manager said recently with typical vigour. 'In the summer, the whole world will be watching this. Their regular Champions League foes Real Madrid could lie in wait in the first knockout round. Other notable sides involved include newly-crowned European champions Paris St Germain and the beaten finalists Inter Milan, Premier League rivals Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund. There are 12 European entrants in total with six from South America, six from South America, four each from Africa and Asia, five from North America and one from Oceania. Brazil has the most participants of any one country with four. The tournament, which begins on June 14, has had plenty of detractors, particularly from Europe, and its success remains to be seen. For City the message is now clear, however. They would rather be involved than not. 'It's an honour,' Guardiola said. 'It means in the last seasons we have done really well.
