Iran unveils latest achievement of Nuclear Science & Technology Research Center

Iranian authorities unveiled a significant achievement on Saturday: the production of a high-voltage radio pulse generator, a key component of electron accelerators, by the Nuclear Science and Technology Research Center.
According to Tasnim International News Agency, the unveiling ceremony was attended by the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran Mohammad Eslami, and the ceremony took place on the sidelines of the exhibition called "Technology Market".
In a speech at the ceremony, Eslami referred to the efforts made by Iranian scientists to create this system, saying, "This system is one of the main parts of electron accelerators and we urgently need it in the country."
Islami also referred to the other parts of this exhibition, especially in the section on nuclear agriculture. What we need in this section is radiation.
With regard to radioactive medicines (radioisotopes), Eslami said that the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran is currently distributing 69 types of radioisotopes (to medical and hospital centers in Iran) and that there are 20 new radioactive medicines that are subject to research and that some of them have entered the stage of clinical testing, and will be presented on the market after passing these stages. He explained that these radioactive drugs are used to combat cells affected by cancer.

WHO condemns destruction of Kidney Dialysis Center in Northern Gaza by Israeli Forces
Geneva – SABA: The Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, on Tuesday condemned the Israeli military's destruction of the Noura Al-Kaabi Dialysis Center in northern Gaza. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Ghebreyesus stated: 'The Noura dialysis center in northern Gaza is now a pile of rubble.' He emphasized that the destruction of this health facility poses a direct threat to the lives of patients suffering from kidney failure. The center had previously provided dialysis services to 40 patients per week before it was leveled. He noted that the WHO had managed to relocate 20 out of the 23 dialysis machines from the center to a safe location prior to the attack. Ghebreyesus renewed his call for a ceasefire and urged immediate protection for all health facilities and medical personnel. In his post, he also shared a before-and-after image comparison—one showing the center as it stood last year, and another depicting it reduced to rubble. Medical sources warned that the destruction of the center puts the health of kidney failure patients in northern Gaza in extreme jeopardy. They reported that 41% of such patients have died amid the ongoing genocide, due to denial of access to dialysis centers and the destruction of facilities dedicated to their care. 27 Palestinians Martyred in 'Aid Massacre' in Southern Gaza Strip
Gaza – SABA: The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) confirmed that 27 Palestinians were martyred early Tuesday due to gunfire near an aid distribution center west of Rafah city in southern Gaza Strip, in an incident that sparked widespread international condemnation and calls for an independent investigation. Earlier in the day, Palestinian sources reported that 27 people were killed and more than 90 others injured as a result of Israeli occupation forces shelling and opening fire on thousands heading to the aid center west of Rafah. In a statement, the ICRC said its field hospital in Rafah received 184 wounded individuals, 19 of whom were declared dead upon arrival, while 8 others later succumbed to their injuries. The committee noted that 'most of the injuries were gunshot wounds.' It described the incident as 'the deadliest in terms of casualties since the hospital was established over a year ago,' stressing that the number of victims far exceeded the hospital's 60-bed capacity. Meanwhile, Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for Gaza's Civil Defense, said the massacre targeted citizens waiting for American aid near the Al-Alam roundabout in the Al-Mawasi area west of Rafah, adding that more than 90 people were injured in the attack. On the international front, UN Secretary-General António Guterres strongly condemned the incident, calling it 'unacceptable.' His spokesperson, Stéphane Dujarric, said: 'Civilians should not lose their lives simply because they are trying to get food,' reiterating the Secretary-General's call for an immediate and independent investigation and for those responsible to be held accountable. This deadly incident comes amid catastrophic humanitarian conditions in Gaza, where the population faces severe shortages of food, water, and medicine after nearly twenty months of an ongoing genocide, and where humanitarian aid delivery remains an immense challenge.
