
Iranian President receives Sayyid Badr
Tehran: President Masoud Pezeshkian of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Sunday received Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, during the latter's participation in the 4th Tehran Dialogue Forum.
Sayyid Badr conveyed warm greetings from His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Pezeshkian, along with His Majesty's best wishes for the President's health and wellbeing, and for the continued progress and prosperity of the Iranian people.
President Pezeshkian reciprocated by extending his sincere greetings and highest regards to His Majesty the Sultan, expressing his wishes for Oman's continued advancement and prosperity under His Majesty's leadership.
Both sides reaffirmed the strong bilateral ties between Oman and Iran, exploring avenues to further strengthen cooperation across various sectors to serve the mutual interests of both nations.
President Pezeshkian specifically acknowledged Oman's constructive role in facilitating dialogue, particularly in supporting balanced and fair negotiations between Iran and the United States.
Sayyid Badr expressed Oman's appreciation for Iran's support of these diplomatic efforts, emphasizing the shared commitment to achieving lasting peace and enhancing regional and global security and stability.
