Egypt: Remains of gold refining factory discovered
Cairo - Saba: The Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities announced the discovery of the remains of a mining camp dating back more than three thousand years, southwest of Marsa Alam city in the coastal Red Sea Governorate in Egypt.
The ministry explained that this discovery came after two years of diligent work, within the framework of excavation work within the "Revival of the Ancient City of Gold" project in Jabal Al-Sukari, noting that it included the remains of an integrated factory for extracting gold from veins of marble and crushing, grinding and crushing quartz stone, passing through filtration and sedimentation basins, until the smelting stage in pottery ovens and extracting gold.

But a Stateside source says that won't be a project that will interest Paraag Marathe, the senior 49ers exec who is now doubling up as Leeds chairman with a role deputising Cavenagh on the board at Rangers. They told us: "That's just not the 49ers style. If you look at the how they have operated in America, they have never gotten involved in that. "There is a Amazon Prime documentary series, All or Nothing, that goes to a different NFL side each season and spends a year following them week to week. "But the 49ers owner Jed York just isn't interested in that kind of thing so the 49ers have always declined it. On that basis I just can't see them being interested in that kind of programme at Rangers. "There was a Leeds documentary a few years back that followed them the year they won promotion to the Premier League, but that was organised by Andrea Radrizzani, who was the majority shareholder at that time, with the 49ers only holding a minority stake. I can't see it being repeated at Rangers."

HM Passport Office has issued an alert ahead of many summer holidays His Majesty's (HM) Passport Office is urging British passport holders to act "today", ahead of what will likely be a very busy summer for international travel. With millions of people from the UK poised to jet off abroad over the next few months, the Passport Office issued an alert on its official X account. The post reads: "Did you know that some countries require your passport to be valid for several months after your scheduled return date? Check your passport expiry date today!" An accompanying link directs travellers to the Foreign Office website, which details information for visits to some 226 countries and territories. For instance, those planning to enter the Schengen zone with a UK passport must ensure the "date of issue" is less than 10 years from the date of arrival. Additionally, the "expiry date" should extend at least three months beyond the intended departure from the Schengen area, which includes 29 countries, such as Spain, Greece, France, and Italy. British passport holders jetting off to Turkey need to have an expiry date at least 150 days post-arrival and one blank page available. Meanwhile, trips to Dubai or other UAE destinations require passports to remain valid for a minimum of six months from the date of entry.

The couple, familiar faces from This Morning, were listed as two of the 53 British nationals on the ill-fated flight. Before their departure, Fiongal took to The Wellness Foundry Instagram to share: "We are at the airport, just boarding, goodbye India". Jamie also shared some light-hearted thoughts on the impending 10-hour flight. The couple had been documenting their travels on social media, describing the trip as a "magical experience" and teasing followers with a future vlog about their adventures. Reflecting on their journey, Jamie remarked: "We really have been on quite a journey and then just spending the last night here in this most amazing hotel, we've just had the most delicious Thali food. It was the perfect way to round up the trip." After a 10-day wellness retreat, the London-based pair were scheduled to fly back on the Air India service, according to Birmingham Live, which referenced information from Jamie's brother Nick Meek, reports the Manchester Evening News. Nick, a caretaker hailing from Birmingham, told the publication: "We were expecting him home tonight. He should have landed at 6.30pm and then driven up for about 11 to get his dog who is staying with our Mum," as reported by the Express.
