Machine-to-Machine (M2M) connectivity links machines, devices, and appliances wirelessly to the internet, transforming them into intelligent devices that exchange real time information and open up a range of possibilities for how businesses are run, how they grow, and how they keep customers happy.

Additionally, the global IMSI-based solution provides competitive roaming rates and worldwide coverage, allowing OEMs to avoid establishing local entities and thereby reducing operational costs and legal complexities. The offering further streamlines processes by presenting a unified contractual relationship, enabling OEMs to leverage their scale without fragmentation by country or operator.
Through this launch, Zain is targeting a diverse range of market segments seeking more intelligent coverage, including international car manufacturers, industrial equipment manufacturers, smart meter providers, connected device companies, and enterprises involved in international freight, shipping containers, and cold supply chain management.
The dynamic nature of M2M services is set to reshape global business operations. IOT-Analytics, a leading global provider of market insights and strategic business intelligence for IoT, AI, Cloud, Edge, and Industry 4.0, estimates that there are currently around 19 billion internet-connected physical devices, a figure expected to double to 40 billion by 2030.
With this innovative offering, Zain is poised to revolutionize the M2M connectivity landscape in the Middle East by providing OEMs with a seamless, cost-effective, and compliant solution for a plethora of connected devices.

Trump to keep Starlink at White House
Ammon News - President Donald Trump said on Monday he has no plans to discontinue Starlink at the White House but might move his Tesla off-site, following his announcement over the weekend that his relationship with Elon Musk, the billionaire CEO of both companies, was over. "I may move the Tesla around a little bit, but I don't think we'll be doing that with Starlink. It's a good service," Trump told reporters, referring to the satellite internet company that provides high-speed broadband access. It is a unit of Musk's SpaceX. In March, Trump said he had purchased a red Tesla Model S from Musk, Trump's then-close ally. Last week, a White House official said Trump might get rid of it after a public feud erupted between the two men. The Tesla was seen parked at the White House over the weekend. On Saturday, Trump said he had no intention of repairing ties with Musk. On Monday, the president said he would not have a problem if Musk called. "We had a good relationship, and I just wish him well," Trump said. Musk responded with a heart emoji to a video on X showing Trump's remarks. Last week, Trump and Musk exchanged a flurry of insults after the world's richest man denounced Trump's tax and spending bill as a "disgusting abomination." Musk's opposition has complicated Republican efforts to pass Trump's "big, beautiful bill" in Congress, where the party holds slim majorities in the House of Representatives and Senate. Since the dispute began last Thursday, Musk has deleted some social media posts critical of Trump, including one signaling support for impeaching the president. Sources close to Musk said his anger has started to subside, and they believe he may want to repair his relationship with Trump. Reuters

Jordan, Morocco discuss economic cooperation
Ammon News - The Amman Chamber of Commerce (ACC) and Morocco's ambassador to Jordan, Fouad Akhrif, held a meeting to explore ways to enhance trade and investment cooperation between the two countries, citing the need for stronger institutional coordination and greater engagement between their private sectors. According to a statement by the Chamber, Chairman Khalil Al-Haj Tawfiq emphasized the strength of Jordanian-Moroccan relations and called for the development of deeper economic ties. He said current trade volumes do not reflect the potential of the bilateral relationship and pointed to limited delegation exchanges and coordination between chambers of commerce as key obstacles. Al-Haj Tawfiq proposed activating communication channels, improving the flow of investment and trade information, and establishing continuous networking platforms between the two business communities. He announced an agreement with Moroccan Member of Parliament Khadija Hajoubi to host an exhibition of traditional Moroccan crafts and products in Amman later this year. A twinning arrangement is also planned between the Amman Chamber of Commerce and the chamber in the Fès-Meknès region. He added that the Chamber is prepared to support Moroccan companies seeking entry into the Jordanian market and encouraged joint private-sector participation in reconstruction projects in Syria. He also described Morocco as a key gateway for Jordanian companies seeking access to African markets. Al-Haj Tawfiq stressed the importance of streamlined visa procedures and closer cooperation with the Moroccan Embassy to facilitate business travel and joint trade events. Ambassador Akhrif acknowledged the strength of political ties between Jordan and Morocco but noted that economic relations remain underdeveloped by comparison. He urged both sides to intensify efforts to realize their economic potential, citing Morocco's ongoing development across sectors. He proposed holding a business forum in Morocco to bring together companies from both countries, focusing on promising sectors that could support trade and investment partnerships. Akhrif also highlighted Morocco's investment opportunities and encouraged Jordanian businesses to leverage existing bilateral agreements and participate in trade missions. Chamber board members emphasized the need to implement and update bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding, noting that deeper cooperation could lead to expanded trade, greater diversification of exchanged goods, and stronger collaboration in tourism, transportation, and logistics. They welcomed the planned resumption of direct flights between the two countries later this year, which they said would improve business mobility. However, they noted that the current sea freight route is inefficient due to its length and called for the development of faster, more reliable transport links.
