General Saree Announces Ben Gurion Strike, Raises Haifa-for-Hodeida Port Formula
In support of the oppressed Palestinian people and their fighters, and in rejection of the genocide committed by the Zionist enemy against Gaza Strip, the Missile Force of the Yemeni Armed Forces carried out a qualitative military operation targeting Lod (Ben Gurion) Airport in the occupied Jaffa (Tel Aviv) area with two ballistic missiles—one hypersonic of the type 'Palestine-2' and the other of the type 'Thulfiqar', according to a statement read by the military spokesman General Yahya Saree
General Saree indicated that one of the missiles struck Lod (Ben Gurion) Airport directly, and the interception systems failed to counter it.
'By the grace of Allah, the operation achieved its objective successfully, forcing millions of occupying Zionists to flee to shelters and bringing air traffic at the airport to a halt.'
The Yemeni Armed Forces affirmed that the ban on air traffic to and from the mentioned airport remains in effect, and renew their warning to the remaining companies to immediately cease all flights to and from the airport.
In response to the aggression on Al-Hodeidah, the Yemeni Armed Forces warned all companies and various entities against continuing operations with the port of Haifa, which has now been included in the target bank.
'Let the criminal enemy know that Yemen—trusting in Allah, relying on Him, and dependent upon Him—is steadfast and unyielding, loyal and never neglectful, retreating, or treacherous. It is bold and unwavering, proud and humble only before Allah, like its towering, immovable mountains—unshaken by storms and undeterred by tempests. Let the criminal enemy await more and more from us in support and backing of the truthful and loyal brothers in Gaza—Gaza of pride, dignity, sacrifice, and martyrdom. We continue to support and aid them until the aggression against them stops and the siege is lifted.'
Meanwhile, President of Yemen's Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat affirmed that the Yemeni response to the Zionist aggression will come from different directions, and the Yemeni strikes on the Zionist enemy will be calculated, effective, and dynamic—ensuring our forces retain superiority and control over the battlefield.
'For the safety of embassies near legitimate targets of our forces in occupied Jaffa, they must compel the enemy's government to relocate them at a safe distance. If the enemy's government does not comply with such requests from any embassy, we advise closure and departure so the enemy does not put them at risk.'
The foreign ministries of embassies located in the Zionist entity may contact our Foreign Ministry in Sana'a to confirm whether their surroundings are free from any legitimate targets of our forces, he added.
'We will instruct our Foreign Ministry to inform any country about the status of its embassy in the Zionist entity.'
The features of Yemeni missiles previously announced have not yet been used, and coordination is essential before their deployment, Al-Mashat maintained.
The Israeli occupation military launched a strike on Tuesday targeting Hodeidah Port, a key coastal facility in western Yemen. This marks the first time Israeli naval forces have engaged in attacks on Yemeni ports, as reported by Israeli media, distinguishing this operation from previous strikes in the region.

Israel Knesset Rejects Vote on Dissolving Itself
Israel's parliament rejected early on Thursday a preliminary vote to dissolve itself, the Knesset said in a statement, after an agreement was reached regarding a dispute over conscription. The vote, which could have been a first step leading to an early election that polls show Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would lose, was rejected with 61 lawmakers opposing it to 53 supporting it. The Knesset consists of 120 seats, and the majority needed to pass the vote was 61 lawmakers. This gives Netanyahu's ruling coalition further time to resolve its worst political crisis yet and avoid a ballot, which would be Israel's first since the eruption of the war with Hamas in Gaza. Netanyahu has been pushing hard to resolve a deadlock in his coalition over a new military conscription bill, which has led to the present crisis. "I am pleased to announce that after long discussions we have reached agreements on the principles on which the draft law will be based," Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee Yuli Edelstein said in a statement. Some religious parties in Netanyahu's coalition are seeking exemptions for ultra-Orthodox Jewish seminary students from military service that is mandatory in Israel, while other lawmakers want to scrap any such exemptions altogether. The exemptions have been a hot-button issue in Israel for years but have become particularly contentious during the war in Gaza, as Israel has suffered its highest battlefield casualties in decades and its stretched military is in need of more troops. Growing increasingly impatient with the political deadlock, ultra-Orthodox coalition factions have said they will vote with opposition parties in favour of dissolving the Knesset and bringing forward an election that is not due until late 2026. "It's more than ever urgent to replace Netanyahu's government and specifically this toxic and harmful government," said Labour's opposition lawmaker Merav Michaeli. "It's urgent to end the war in Gaza and to bring back all the hostages. It's urgent to start rebuilding and healing the state of Israel." Successive polls have predicted that Netanyahu's coalition would lose in an election, with Israelis still reeling over the security failure of Palestinian militant group Hamas' October 7 2023 attack and hostages still held in Gaza.

UNRWA: Israeli-US backed aid distribution model in Gaza ‘putting lives at risk'
The United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees (UNRWA) has called the aid distribution model 'a distraction from the ongoing atrocities and a waste of resources' in a post on X. 'The humanitarian community in Gaza, including UNRWA, is ready and has the experience and expertise to reach people in need', it said, adding that Israel 'must lift the siege and allow us safe and unhindered access to bring in aid at scale and distribute it safely'.
