Hours remain to grab 'slimming' Boden dress for £57 down from £76 in huge spring sale

Daily Mirror27-04-2025

The Eloise Tiered Jersey Dress has been reduced to £57 until Sunday, in a 25% off everything sitewide offer - and it's selling like 'hot cakes', according to Boden
Boden's summer sensation, the 'slimming' Eloise Tiered Jersey Dress that's flying off the shelves at remarkable speed, has just been marked down. The dress, originally priced at £76, has become a shopper's delight, with many planning to do it all season long.
But if you're eyeing a bargain, it's now on offer for £57 in a sitewide sale slashing 25% off the original price. If you're after the steal - the 25% discount is only up for grabs until Sunday, 27. Miss it and you can still get 15% off until April 28, followed by 10% off up until the 29th.
The fashion hit, available from sizes 4 to 22 and across regular and petite lengths, comes in an array of five enticing colours and patterns, all enjoying the discount, reports the Manchester Evening News. It's not just any midi dress – this Boden gem boasts handy pockets, gentle jersey material and a cut that flatters effortlessly, a combo that's earned it heartfelt adoration and a stellar 4.5-star rating.
Some shoppers are even smitten enough to snag it in every colour and pattern available. A particularly thrilled customer awarded the dress top marks, sharing: "I'll be wearing this a lot this summer. Casual but can be dressed up. I'm 5'4" and 140 - size 6 is perfect."
One shopper shared: "I'm quite busty and usually go for something more streamlined, but this feels and looks lovely on. I got the blue. It's a brighter blue than the ad. Fits true to size and is very feminine and comfortable. The neckline is a little too low, my bra is visible so I'll have to sew it up by about an inch I think, but otherwise very pleased."
Another customer chimed in: "Bought the green. Bright colour, as shown. Fits great! Very slimming and easy to wear. Can be dressed up or dressed down."
However, not everyone was completely satisfied, with one person giving it four stars due to the length, stating: "This is such a pretty dress; bright blue in colour, a great neckline, cap sleeves and a nice drape, although the jersey is certainly summer weight. Unfortunately, it falls at a funny length for me, I'm just over 5'9" and it falls at the least flattering point of my calf! If it were 10cm longer I would have kept it."
Yet another said: "Most of my other Boden dresses are a US 10 but I very comfortably fit into an 8 petite. Neckline is low-ish (I think it's flattering but not necessarily church- or office-appropriate) and requires me to wear a plunging bra rather than my usual full-coverage bra. Got the green dahlia pattern and absolutely love it with my dark hair and pale skin. Not see-through at all. Highly recommend!"
If you're after a dress with longer sleeves, consider the Lucy Midi Printed Dress from White Stuff. Currently on sale for £38, down from £75, it features a classic 3/4 sleeve - perfect for those who prefer to cover their arms - and a standout pattern that's sure to garner compliments.
Alternatively, if you fancy something with a tropical vibe, check out New Look's White Tropical Print Wrap Midi Dress, retailing at £27.99. It ties at the side and cascades into a tiered hem for a flattering silhouette.

Lammy seeks to ‘deepen' UK-India ties on New Delhi visit

David Lammy will seek to deepen UK-India economic ties as he visits New Delhi this weekend, saying Britain's recently agreed trade deal with the country is 'just the start of our ambitions'. Trade and migration will be at the top of the agenda for the Foreign Secretary's trip, during which he will meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and external affairs minister S Jaishankar. The Foreign Office said Mr Lammy would also raise 'the recent escalation in tensions following the Pahalgam terrorist attack, and how the welcomed sustained period of peace can be best supported in the interests of stability in the region'. Pakistan and India agreed to a US-brokered ceasefire last month after rising hostilities between the two nuclear-armed rivals followed a deadly attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Kashmir. Ahead of the visit, Mr Lammy said: 'Signing a free trade agreement is just the start of our ambitions – we're building a modern partnership with India for a new global era. 'We want to go even further to foster an even closer relationship and co-operate when it comes to delivering growth, fostering innovative technology, tackling the climate crisis and delivering our migration priorities, and providing greater security for our people.' The Foreign Office said talks in New Delhi would aim to 'deepen and diversify the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries'. 'The Foreign Secretary will also welcome progress in our migration partnership, including ongoing work on safeguarding citizens and securing borders in both countries,' it said.
