EU chief hails Trump announcement of Iran-Israel ceasefire
EU chief Ursula von der Leyen on Tuesday said that the continent "welcomes" the announcement of a ceasefire between Iran and Israel by U.S. President Donald Trump.
"It's an important step towards restoring stability in a region in tension. This must be our collective priority," she said on X, urging Iran to "engage seriously in a credible diplomatic process."
