The Carabao Cup first round draw is already here weeks out from the first round of fixtures for the 2025/26 season.
After Newcastle's thrilling win over Liverpool in last year's final at Wembley, it promises to be an exciting season with teams dreaming of silverware.
Teams in the English Football League will discover their first round opponents on Thursday, 26 June.
When is the Carabao Cup draw?
The draw takes place from 4:20pm BST with the preliminary round draw, the first-round proper draw will then follow.

How does the draw work?
Clubs will be split into North and South sections for the draw. There will be 70 of the 72 EFL clubs entering the first round after two preliminary matches.
The 11 Premier League sides not competing in European football this season will enter in the second round, with the sides in Uefa competitions entering the cup in the third round.
There are nine clubs in the Premier League set to play in Uefa competitions with Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester City, Chelsea, Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur in the Champions League, Aston Villa and Crystal Palace (for the time being) in the Europa League and Nottingham Forest set for the Conference League.
That reduces the number of clubs coming into the Carabao Cup at the second-round stage, necessitating a preliminary round, which will involve the two sides promoted from the National League and the clubs who finished 21st and 22nd in League Two.
Those fixtures in the week commencing 4 August see Accrington Stanley face Oldham Athletic, while Barnet play Newport County, with the home sides decided before the first-round draw. The two winners will make it to the first round, which will be played in the week commencing 11 August.

Valencia CF secures $377 million financing for Nou Mestalla stadium
SINGAPORE, June 26 (Reuters) - Valencia CF has secured financing totaling 322 million euros ($377 million) for the development of the Nou Mestalla stadium, the Spanish football club said on Thursday. The financing, comprising 237 million euros of notes and 85 million euros of a short-term loan, is one of the biggest transactions ever completed by a professional football club in Spain and across Europe, Valencia said in a statement. "Securing this landmark financing gives us the green light to deliver Nou Mestalla - a world-class stadium that will power the club's growth for generations," Kiat Lim, Valencia CF President, said in the statement. Lim is the son of Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim, who is the club's majority owner. The stadium, which is located in the city of Valencia and will have over 70,000 seats, is scheduled to open in 2027. It is expected to multiply the revenue currently generated at its old Mestalla facility, Valencia CF said. "Given the expanded hospitality, greater capacity, and multi-purpose event hosting, early estimates suggest that we will be more than tripling the current revenue," Kiat Lim said. Tottenham refuse to be bullied into cut-price sale of £60m-plus Cristian Romero
Tottenham Hotspur are determined they will not be bullied into selling Cristian Romero for a cut-price fee by Atletico Madrid, with the club believed to value him at over £60million. Romero is due to return to Tottenham for pre-season training in the second week of July with his future in doubt and new head coach Thomas Frank facing a difficult situation over one of the club's best players. Atletico have made it public that they want to sign 27-year-old Romero this summer, while the central defender has continued to make his dissatisfaction with the running of the club abundantly clear. Diego Simeone, the Atletico manager, outlined his pursuit of the player by saying: 'Do I want Cuti Romero? Of course. He's a great player.' Spanish reports have also claimed that Simeone has been in regular contact with Romero, who has expressed a desire to play in Spain at some stage of his career. Tottenham have not responded to Simeone's comments or Atletico's public pursuit, but are determined their valuation of Romero will not be impacted by the Spanish club. Outside sources have pointed out that attempting to put pressure on Spurs publicly has rarely, if ever, ended well with chairman Daniel Levy, who likes to do his business privately. Additionally, there are doubts whether or not Atletico could afford to pay upwards of £60m for Romero, who is contracted to Tottenham until 2027. Despite Tottenham's firm stance over their valuation, Frank has inherited a difficult situation over Romero, who chose the day the Dane's appointment was announced to take his latest swipe at the club's hierarchy. Less than an hour after Frank's appointment had been confirmed, Romero posted a message on social media that paid tribute to the work of former head coach Ange Postecoglou and included the line: 'You paved the way despite the many obstacles that always existed and always will exist.' In March, Romero pointedly thanked the Argentina physios for his return to fitness without making any mention of the Tottenham medical staff and last September reposted a social media message claiming the player was tired because Spurs had not flown him back on a private jet from international duty. Romero had played in Argentina's 2-1 defeat in Colombia five days prior to a 1-0 North London derby defeat to Arsenal. Some clubs are known to organise private travel at their own cost to get their stars home quicker from international duty, but Tottenham generally do not do that and leave it to federations to arrange flights. It remains to be seen whether or not Frank can win Romero over and his influence on the dressing room is also a big factor for the former Brentford head coach to consider. Postecoglou made Romero one of Tottenham's vice-captains and his influence was underlined in the Europa League final when he marched the team into Manchester United's half of the pitch to do a pre-match huddle in front of their own fans in Bilbao. It was also Romero who helped to organise a team-bonding barbecue in the build-up to the final. Talking about his future and ambitions in April, Romero said: 'I'd love to play in La Liga. I'd love to, honestly. 'We'll see after the championship is over. The truth is, I haven't spoken to my agent yet, but I'm open to anything. My goal is always to grow and go to new places to continue developing.' Losing Romero and club captain Heung-Min Son - who left some team-mates and staff with the impression he could have played his final game for the club at the end of the season - in one summer would leave Frank short of leadership.

ITV announce Euro 2025 pundits as Laura Woods leads coverage and Eni Aluko returns alongside former Chelsea manager
ITV have announced their stellar broadcasting line up for the Women's European Championships. England are looking to defend the Euro 2022 crown they dramatically won at Wembley Stadium three years ago. 4 4 4 4 Coverage for the tournament being hosted in Switzerland will be across ITV, ITVX and STV, including the tournament opener between Finland and Iceland on July 2. ITV will cover the opener for Sarina Wiegman's squad - which was shaken after three high-profile drop-outs in the form of Millie Bright, Fran Kirby and Mary Earps just weeks before. That game will be a crunch opener against France on July 5, while the broadcaster will also show the Lionesses' final Group Stage game against home nations rival, Wales, on July 13. The coverage will be fronted by presenters Laura Woods and Seema Jaswal. Commentary will be provided by Seb Hutchinson, Sam Matterface and Pien Meulensteen. And they will be joined on Co-Commentary by Lucy Ward, Siobhan Chamberlain, Emma Byrne, and Nia Jones.
