GMA Network21-05-2025

GMA Integrated Newsfeed, the flagship program of GMA Integrated News' Digital Strategy and Innovation Lab (DigiLab), continues to assert its digital leadership, generating over 322 million combined views on Facebook and YouTube from January to April 2025.
With its bite-sized, mobile-first storytelling, the program has steadily gained traction online. In just two weeks this April, over 20 of its videos surpassed the one-million-view mark on Facebook, a testament to its viral appeal and audience resonance.
Topping the list is "Walang iwanan! – 2 aso, may nakakamanghang ginawa" with 23.7 million views, followed by "5-anyos, 'di tinapos ang graduation para sa isang wish" (11.6 million) and "Lalaki, napasigaw nang makita ang sinapit ng hinahanap niyang ina" (11.4 million).
The momentum extends to YouTube, where GMA Integrated Newsfeed also posted its strongest performance this year, with numerous videos crossing the 100,000-view threshold, underscoring the program's growing cross-platform reach. The program also resonated strongly with online audiences on TikTok, recording a remarkable 209.6 million total views.
"This milestone highlights the team's significant role in delivering compelling content that connects with a wide audience," said Oliver Victor B. Amoroso, Senior Vice President and Head of GMA Integrated News, Regional TV, and Synergy. "It reflects our continued commitment to relevant and timely digital storytelling. We're proud of DigiLab's creativity and dedication in pushing the boundaries of innovation."
Launched in 2020 as a rebrand of the GMA Newsfeed social newscast, GMA Integrated Newsfeed has since evolved into a mobile-first digital program and a key viewership driver for GMA Integrated News. To date, it has contributed over 2 billion views across the network's digital platforms.
"GMA Integrated Newsfeed has truly come a long way, from a TV-style newscast that struggled online to now being our top-performing digital exclusive," said Bernice Sibucao, Senior Manager and Deputy Head of the Digital Strategy and Innovation Lab. "Its success shows how GMA Integrated News has successfully listened to our audience and adapted, creating content that fits their habits: quick, mobile-first, and engaging. It's a reminder that meeting people where they are is key to staying relevant in today's fast-moving digital space."
Audiences can catch GMA Integrated Newsfeed on Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Reddit.

'Sang'gre' has released an epic new primer and it's magical. The 11-minute video presented a deep dive into this new chapter, starting with Mitena's (Rhian Ramos) birth as an Ivtre or 'kaluluwa,' and 'sanggol na hindi na dapat ipinanganak.' After getting abandoned by her parents, Mitena experiences hardships in a prison cell and vows revenge. 'Wawasakin ko ang buong Encantadia!' she said. Meanwhile, in the human world, Terra (Bianca Umali) uses her powers to act as a local hero. She also asks for advice from Pirena (Glaiza De Castro), who tells her that she would be the leader in saving Encantadia. The rest of the new generation of Sang'gres, Flamarra (Faith Da Silva), Adamus (Kelvin Miranda), and Deia (Angel Guardian), also begin training and fighting to save Encantadia from Mitena. In the video, a face-off happened between Mitena and the Sang'gres, saying they are not afraid to use their brilyante and powers to fight each other. The video, which has generated more than 35,000 views on YouTube as of writing, also revealed more cast members. The stars of the 2016 'Encantadia' reboot — Glaiza as Pirena, Gabbi Garcia as Alena, Sanya Lopez as Danaya, and Kylie Padilla as Amihan — are all set to reprise their roles. Manilyn Reynes as Mona, Boboy Garovillo as Javier, Benjie Paras as Kapre, Sherilyn Reyes as Katrina, Therese Malvar as Dina, Vince Maristela as Akiro, and Pam Prinster as Cami, play characters in the human world. Fashion Aid Philippines extends ‘The Grant' submission deadline until June 15

Fashion Aid Philippines is extending the deadline for the submission of entries to its flagship competition, 'The Grant,' until June 15! The decision came in response to a growing demand from aspiring applicants and aims to broaden the competition's reach across the Philippines, ensuring that talent from all corners of the archipelago has an opportunity to participate. The core philosophy behind the competition is to discover and uplift 'rough diamonds' from even the smallest towns and barangays who may lack access to opportunities. According to Fashion Aid's creative content lead Yiouri Augousti clarified, ''The Grant' is not for an established fashion designer who's been in the business for 20 years." 'The idea is for those younger ones, ones who have not had the opportunity to be given a chance to get assistance to start," he added. The extension is crucial for making the competition more national, as evidenced by a recent entry sent all the way from Bukidnon. Understanding that not all aspiring designers have the means to travel or create elaborate video presentations, the submission guidelines have been adjusted to be more inclusive. While email submissions are preferred via fashionaidphilippines@ or info@ applicants can also submit through Facebook or other social media channels. Importantly, participants are now permitted to submit sketches and drawings instead of finished products or videos, removing potential financial barriers for those from less privileged backgrounds. 'The Grant' will focus on three primary categories: fashion for clothing pieces, accessories for shoes, jewelry, and bags, and lifestyle/home for furniture and decoration items Patrick Rosas, a founding member of Fashion Aid, explained 'The Grant' extends beyond mere display, aiming to cultivate lasting expertise within the design community. 'It's not about exhibition only. We really need educated experts in the future to teach the next generations,' he explained, hoping that 'The Grant' will continue with more editions in the next coming years. This long-term vision emphasizes the importance of continuous learning and developing high-level design professionals who can sustain and advance Filipino creativity for years to come. Patrick also hopes that 'The Grant' will reignite Filipino creativity. 'We need to reignite because nga nawawala 'yung momentum ng Philippines palagi, 'di ba? So we need to work hand in hand para we can do it smoothly and continuously, 'di ba? Hindi mag-da-die down,' he said. Fashion Aid Philippines is deeply committed to ensuring that financial limitations do not prevent talented individuals from participating in 'The Grant.' The organizers have made it clear that everything is provided for participants, addressing concerns like accommodation, which is a natural worry for many aspiring applicants. For those traveling from outside Manila, such as the recently noted entry from Bukidnon, Fashion Aid Philippines will cover expenses like hotels and allowances to ensure their participation is unburdened. 'The Grant' is open to participants from 18 to 40 years old living in the Philippines. There will be a total of four winners — one per category, and one overall winner — and they will all receive a design education scholarship and cash prize support.
