
AlMabarrah AlKhalifia announces strategic partnerships to empower students at THE TAKEOFF exhibition
AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation (MKF) has announced a series of strategic partnerships with prominent academic and financial institutions in Bahrain as part of its preparations for the upcoming 'THE TAKEOFF' university and career exhibition. Scheduled to take place on 28th June 2025 at the Foundation's headquarters, the event will be held under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation's Board of Trustees.MKF has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with the Education Zone, and Mubasher Capital. These agreements underscore a shared commitment to delivering comprehensive and forward-thinking learning experiences to high school students aged 16 to 18. 'THE TAKEOFF' exhibition has been designed as an immersive platform combining career counseling, academic advising, and skill-building opportunities, all geared toward equipping the youth with the capabilities needed to progress professionally in today's dynamic job market.Commenting on the occasion, Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the AlMabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation stated, 'At MKF, we strive to curate educational experiences that inspire innovation and leadership among young people. These partnerships represent a meaningful step toward equipping students with the resources and guidance necessary to shape their future with clarity and confidence, while fostering a generation ready to play an active role in the advancement of our nation.'The exhibition will feature a range of specialized sessions delivered by representatives from partner organizations. Education Zone will conduct AI-driven assessments to help students identify their strengths and potential academic paths. Massive fire injures multiple at a gas station in Beirut
Published June 4th, 2025 - 09:08 GMT ALBAWABA - Beirut, the Lebanese capital, has just witnessed a state of panic on Wednesday morning after a massive fire broke out at a gas station. The incident happened on the Baabda-Hadath road, causing a powerful explosion in the area and injuring at least two people. A thick black cloud covered the sky as Lebanese Civil Defense teams and ambulances rushed to the site of the fire in an attempt to control it and prevent it from spreading to neighboring buildings. Lebanese newspaper "An-Nahar" quoted Civil Defense sources as saying that the flames erupted as a result of the burning of diesel tankers located near the MEDCO station in the Hadath area.
