Alef Company announces Eid celebrations at Al Mamsha, 06 Mall
As part of the Al Mamsha celebrations during the Eid holidays, a special classic car showcase will be held in collaboration with the Sharjah Classic Cars Museum until 7 April. Additionally, some of Al Mamsha's tenants will participate in the activation by setting up exclusive kiosks in the event area. The evenings of the first and second days of Eid will feature live oud performances from 7:00 PM onwards, alongside traditional Emirati dishes served through dedicated food stalls.
Meanwhile, 06 Mall Sharjah will host live oud performances on the second and third days of Eid, at 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM, offering an authentic musical experience that adds a unique festive touch to the occasion.
The events are expected to witness a high turnout of families and visitors looking for entertainment, cultural, and heritage experiences. These celebrations complement Alef Company's successful Ramadan activities, which included interactive storytelling sessions for children, a special storytelling activation in collaboration with The Big Heart Foundation in celebration of Mother's Day, and captivating performances such as Tanoura dance and oud recitals at Al Mamsha.
Alef Company affirmed that the Layali Al Mamsha and 06 Mall activations reflect its strategy of delivering exceptional cultural, entertainment, and heritage experiences that enhance community engagement in Sharjah. The company also aims to attract visitors from outside the emirate, with the strong public turnout demonstrating its success in creating a vibrant and festive atmosphere during both Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr.

Dubai: 10,000 children get Eidiya from authority in 'cherished tradition'
In a heartwarming gesture, authorities in Dubai have distributed Eidiya (Eid gift money) to 10,000 children, an authority said on Thursday, June 5. The children were from families benefitting from Community Development Authority services, the statement said. Hessa bint Essa Buhumaid, Director General of CDA, said: "The Eidiya is not just financial support; it's a heartfelt message meant to bring joy to children during these blessed days and to make them feel valued and cared for." "Giving Eidiya is a cherished tradition in our culture, and the happiness it brings to children is truly priceless,' she added. This was organised under the 'Eidiya' initiative, and in collaboration with the Endowments and Minors' Trust Foundation (AWQAF Dubai). The initiative also aligns with the goals of the 'Year of Community'. Earlier, Dubai Police in an effort to make Eid special for female inmates distributed clothing and organised special programmes as part of their ongoing humanitarian and social efforts.
