State troopers ask for help identifying woman suspected of bank fraud in Greensburg
Pennsylvania State Police in Greensburg are working to identify a woman suspected in several bank fraud cases.
Troopers say she deposited money orders and withdrew funds from victims' accounts at three First National Bank locations in Greensburg.
Investigators say the amount taken totals around $5,400.
Anyone who recognizes the woman or has information about the incidents is asked to call PSP Greensburg at 724-832-3288 or PSP Tips Toll Free at 1-800-472-8477.

2 killed after train hits SUV in Somerset County
Two women are dead after a CSX train collided with a vehicle at a train crossing in Rockwood Borough, Somerset County on Thursday morning. KDKA-TV spoke with residents in the area who said that the two train crossings in town have been problematic for years and they want something done about it. "I feel sick almost," said Ken Marker, who lives near where the crash happened. "I'm kind of anxious. I don't think it should have happened. It's just a shame." It all happened just before 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. An SUV found itself between the down gates of a railroad crossing on Bridge Street in Rockwood Borough as a CSX train was coming through. According to Pennsylvania State Police, both occupants of the SUV, an 85-year-old woman and a 67-year-old woman, died in the crash, one at the scene and one later pronounced dead at Conemaugh Hospital after being transported. One neighbor KDKA-TV spoke with said that something has to be done with the two train crossings that divide the town because they tie up residents and first responders. "You think something would be done like a bridge or an underpass, something for the safety of the residents in the town, because the train is constant, nonstop," said the neighbor, who wanted to remain anonymous. While it is not exactly known what caused this crash to happen, Pennsylvania State Police are investigating.

64 arrests made during Pennsylvania State Police multi-county enforcement detail
(WTAJ) — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) had a multi-county enforcement detail Wednesday that saw 64 arrests between Centre and Clearfield counties. Members of PSP Rockview, Clearfield Vice, County Probation and the Centre County Sheriff's office hit the streets June 11 for a targeted enforcement that proved to be successful. Of the 64 arrests, state police said that 24 of them were for warrants, 20 were Act 64 drug-related offenses and two were DUI-related. In addition to the arrests, 121 citations and 70 warnings were issued to motorists. There was also a motorist assist in the bunch. State police said these saturation details are routinely conducted throughout the Troop G and C coverage areas. During these details, troopers are specifically looking for people driving impaired or using and selling drugs or details are intended to help the ongoing effort of keeping communities safe. Ohio man indicted by Erie federal grand jury for child sexual exploitation
(WJET/WFXP)– An Ohio man has been accused by a federal grand jury in Erie of traveling across state lines to meet up with an underage victim to produce child sexual abuse material (CSAM). The six-count indictment against 26-year-old Robert A. Pepus of Garrettsville, Ohio, of travelling across state lines to meet up with a minor to engage in sexual activity, creating and possessing CSAM between September and October 2024. Erie, Chautauqua emergency crews searching for reported missing kayaker Should he be convicted, Pepus faces up to life in prison plus 130 years, a maximum fine of $1.5 million, or both, though the actual sentence would be based on the seriousness of the charge and any prior criminal history.
