Novak Djokovic is now headed to the French Open quarterfinals after beating British star Cameron Norrie on Court Philippe Chatrier on Monday.

The Serbian legend dominated in straight sets, not giving Norrie any chance at all to put up a fight. Djokovic cruised to an easy 6-2, 6-3, 6-2 victory to reach his 19th quarterfinal appearance at the French Open, which is a record for a single Grand Slam tournament.
However, that's not the only history Djokovic made. His win marked his 100th victory at Roland-Garros, joining Rafael Nadal as the only players to reach the feat in the competition.
Nadal boasts 14 titles and a 112-4 record at the French Open, which has earned him the "King of Clay" nickname. Djokovic, for his part, is now 100-16 on the clay Grand Slam, with three titles to show for it.

After Djokovic's win, the French Open took to social media to announce his historic achievement and welcome him to the elite club.

"Welcome to the *100 match wins at Roland-Garros* club, @djokernole," Roland-Garros wrote, along with an edited photo showing Djokovic and Nadal.
In another post, Roland-Garros further celebrated Novak Djokovic, saying that he has reached a "new (legendary) level."
It will definitely be interesting to see if Djokovic can add more to his French Open tally this year. Sure enough, it won't be an easy one, especially since he's up against World No. 3 Alexander Zverev next in the quarterfinal. Djokovic is 8-5 in his head-to-head matchups against the 28-year-old German star so far in his career.
