With the season already over for the Golden State Warriors, former Defensive Player of the Year Draymond Green has had more time on his hands.

As it turns out, the four-time All-Star has been following the WNBA, and Green caught some of the action on Saturday night. The four-time NBA champ, however, was not delighted with what he saw, particularly from the Chicago Sky.
Angel Reese and Co. got themselves utterly humiliated again on Saturday as they suffered a 79-52 home loss to their biggest rivals, the Indiana Fever, who did not have the services of the injured Caitlin Clark.
Green took to social media to share his brutally honest thoughts on the Sky's performance.
"The Sky play a very bad brand of basketball," Green posted on Threads.

Green is not the type to mince words, and he's made his opinion of Chicago extremely clear here.

As the NBA veteran said, it was a deplorable all-around performance from the Sky on Saturday night. On the offensive end, not even a single Chicago player was able to score in double figures as they collectively shot 32.1% as a team.
The Sky didn't fare too well on the defense as well, with players such as Kelsey Mitchell (17 points, five rebounds) pretty much having their way against Chicago throughout the evening.
Green is clearly unimpressed by the Sky's "brand of basketball," and after seeing their performance in this highly anticipated clash against the Fever, it's hard to argue against the Warriors star.

Angel Reese Makes Chicago Sky Admission After Another Blowout Loss

Angel Reese Makes Chicago Sky Admission After Another Blowout Loss originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky lost a second straight game in blowout fashion on Tuesday, with the New York Liberty leading from start to finish for the 85-66 win. Advertisement It's now the Sky's sixth loss of the season and the fifth time they have been defeated in double digits. In their losses so far, their opponents have had an average winning margin of 20.7 points. During Tuesday's showdown, the Liberty shot 47.9% from the field. Although they struggled shooting from deep, they still dominated the Sky and led by as many as 34 points. Following the loss, Reese pointed to a recurring issue that the Sky need to address: defense. The All-Star forward admitted that it's a key area where they simply need to "be better" if they hope to turn things around. "Defense is something we have to improve on and we need to continue to just have to be better," Reese told the media, per Sky reporter Karli Bell. Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese admits that they need to work on their Krzaczynski-Imagn Images For what it's worth, the numbers support Angel Reese's claim about the Sky's defense. Chicago is one of the worst defensive teams in the WNBA so far, ranking 12th in defensive rating — only ahead of the Connecticut Sun. Advertisement The Sky also allow the most points off turnovers (19.0) and the second-most second-chance points (11.4). Unfortunately for the Sky, though, defense isn't their only problem. Their offense leaves much to be desired, as they average just 76.0 points per game — which ranks 12th in the league. They also have the second-worst offensive rating (93.5). Sophie Cunningham Sends Indiana Pacers Message With Lexie Hull on Wednesday

Sophie Cunningham Sends Indiana Pacers Message With Lexie Hull on Wednesday originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Indiana Pacers have an immense opportunity to take control of the NBA Finals during Game 3 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Wednesday. As of this writing, they lead 64-60 at halftime with the series tied at one win apiece. Advertisement All of the Hoosier State is enthralled by this championship series and the chance of the Larry O'Brien Trophy heading there for the first time ever. The Pacers had won three titles in the old American Basketball Association (ABA), a rival league of the NBA, in the early 1970s, but they have never won a true world championship since joining the NBA. Several members of the WNBA's Indiana Fever are on hand for Game 3. Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Natasha Howard were seen sitting courtside, and contributors Lexie Hull, Sophie Cunningham, Aari McDonald and Makayla Timpson were also present for the contest. Cunningham is currently sidelined by an ankle injury. The veteran, currently in her seventh year, was acquired in a huge trade four months ago from the Phoenix Mercury. Advertisement Hull's ability to fill up the hoop from long distance has made her a key complementary player for the Fever. In nine games so far this season, she's averaging 9.3 points a game and making an astounding 52.2% of her 3-point attempts. Indiana Fever guards Lexie Hull, Caitlin Clark and Sophie CunninghamGrace Smth- INDIANAPOLIS STAR-Imagn Images McDonald recently joined the Fever through a hardship contract after Cunningham, Clark and guard Sydney Colson got injured. While the former No. 3 overall draft pick has struggled thus far in the WNBA, she has scored in double figures in two of her three games with the Fever. Timpson, a rookie out of Florida State, has barely played, but it is thought she has plenty of potential moving forward to beef up the team's frontcourt. Advertisement The team currently has a 4-5 record heading into Saturday's showdown versus Sabrina Ionescu and the defending champion New York Liberty. Skip Bayless Hits Angel Reese With Caitlin Clark Message

Skip Bayless Hits Angel Reese With Caitlin Clark Message originally appeared on Athlon Sports. As Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky struggle this 2025 WNBA season, the criticism against them also continues to pile up. Advertisement Through eight games so far, Reese has averaged 10.1 points and 12.1 rebounds while also shooting 35.8 percent from the field, down from her rookie averages of 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds on 39.1 percent shooting. It also doesn't help that the Sky are the second-worst team in both offensive rating and defensive rating, which further highlights why they are only 2-6 on the season. On Tuesday — prior to the Sky's loss to the Liberty — sports commentator Skip Bayless dropped the latest episode of his show, where he shared his brutally honest take on Reese. Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese (5).Kamil Krzaczynski-Imagn Images Bayless didn't mince words about the play of the Sky forward and even compared her to Indiana Fever star and rival Caitlin Clark. Advertisement "I'm not sure anyone has ever paid to see rebounding," Bayless said of Reese. "Logo threes and magic passes? Yeah, they will pay like crazy to watch Caitlin Clark. They'll pack NBA-sized arenas to watch Caitlin Clark." Bayless then proceeded to drop his critical take on Reese, highlighting her performance against a Fever team missing Clark on Saturday. The 23-year-old scored four points in the contest, although she did grab 12 rebounds. "But Angel, for all your charisma and all your charm, all your highly entertaining social media presence, if you can score only four against the Fever without Caitlin, and look laughably bad doing so, you can't say you're playing as big a part in the WNBA's exploding ratings as Caitlin is. You just can't say that. You can't make that case." For what it's worth, Reese's teammate, Ariel Atkins, has come to her defense amid all the unnecessary hate the Sky star is getting. Unfortunately, the criticism of Reese is unlikely to stop until she and Chicago improve on the court. Advertisement The Sky return to action on Friday against the Atlanta Dream. Chicago is currently on a two-game skid and has yet to win against other WNBA teams aside from the Dallas Wings.
