Out of Words is a cozy stop-motion co-op adventure from Epic Games
A new co-op adventure is coming from Epic Games. Made by WiredFly and Kong Orange, Out of Words will offer a stop-motion-flavored platform adventure that's a little bit cozy and a little bit fantasy. The controllable humans have had their mouths stolen — that's why it's called Out of Word s. It's a little On The Nose.
The cute figures and creatures have been crafted by hand, and cutscenes suggest they've been stop-motion animated alongside the gaming parts. Alongside the two humans you seemingly control, there's also a cute flying stingray. According to Epic Games, much of that whimsy originates from the mind of acclaimed poet Morten Søndergaard.
A core navigation dynamic will be the ability to invert gravity, allowing players to run upside-down alongside each other. There are other traversal powers, including monstrous arms that can grab and slingshot players across spaces.
Out of Words launches in 2026, and is coming to the Epic Games Store, PS5 and Xbox Series X and S.

Fortnite, the online multiplayer shooter by Epic Games, introduced Kicks, a vertical within its popular in-game marketplace dedicated to footwear, in November. Alongside a handful of quirky proprietary designs, the virtual shop sells shoes by Nike, Jordan Brand, Adidas and Crocs, which can be worn by player avatars and shown off during matches. For gamers — especially kids — these digital sneakers represent a form of creative self-expression. 'The younger generation sees what happens on the internet as no less important than the offline world,' Funs Jacobs, a technology and culture strategist, said. 'To older generations, it sounds insane, but it's a bit of an identity thing.' They're also a big business. Fortnite, a free-to-play game, has more than 500 million registered users and an average of over two million active players every day. Its $5 billion in annual revenue comes almost entirely from the sale of virtual goods. Though Epic would not provide exact sales figures, a representative from the company said players had selected and applied Kicks to their avatars nearly seven billion times since November. Fortnite The current season of Fortnite is about to end, so make sure you've wrapped up all your challenges and finished every tier of the Chapter 6, Season 2 Battle Pass. Only hours remain before a new season drops and the current Star Wars-themed season ends and a new Superman season begins. This was a short, truncated season of content for Fortnite players. The new season is Superman / DC Comics-themed thanks to the upcoming release of James Gunn's new Superman movie starring James Corenswet. The Battle Pass skins are mostly based on DC characters including the new Superman model based on Corenswet from the film. Read on to learn everything you need to know about the new Superhero Academy Chapter 6, Season 3. The current season isn't going out quietly. The Star Wars Galactic Battle wraps up with a major live-event called Death Star Sabotage. Here's when it kicks off on Saturday, June 7th: Players should get queued up early. You can login two hours ahead of the event to hopefully secure your spot (barring any technical problems or overwhelmed servers) and you can do that on mobile now that Fortnite is back in the Google Play and App Stores. There's no exact timing or details on the event, but expect it to last 15 to 20 minutes. Already we've started to see the Battle Pass skins leak for Season 3. These include Superman and Robin along with some pickaxes, gliders and more. Superman's dog Krypto is set to join the game as well, likely as some kind of pet companion. New weapons like the Unstable Yoink Shotgun are also coming to the battle royale game.
