(41 off 30) capitalised in the final phase, as India amassed 90 runs in the last 10 overs. Deepti Sharma (20* off 14) and Amanjot Kaur (18 off 12) added the finishing touches.
For Sri Lanka, Sugandika Kumari (2/59), Dewmi Vihanga (2/69), and Malki Madara (2/74) shared the wickets but were unable to contain the Indian onslaught.
Chasing 343, Sri Lanka's innings faltered early with Hasini Perera bowled by Amanjot Kaur in the very first over. Athapaththu (51) and Vishmi Gunaratne (36) tried to revive the chase, but disciplined Indian bowling tightened the screws. Off-spinner Deepti Sharma applied pressure with three tight overs, paving the way for Amanjot to bowl Vishmi around her legs.

Sneh Rana (4/38) then struck key blows, including the wicket of Athapaththu just after her half-century. Rana had earlier dropped the Sri Lankan skipper but made amends quickly. Nilakshika Silva (48) offered resistance, but her dismissal to Rana marked the end of any hope for the hosts.
India wrapped up the innings for 245, with Amanjot (3/54) and Rana leading the bowling effort in a dominant all-round display.

Khaleel Ahmed's fiery spell dismantles England Lions, puts India A on top in second unofficial Test

Khaleel Ahmed. New Delhi: Khaleel Ahmed's impressive four-wicket haul has given India A a significant advantage over the England Lions in the second unofficial Test at Northampton. Chennai Super Kings' bowlers dominated the day's play, starting with Khaleel Ahmed's impressive four-wicket haul, including the key dismissals of Jordan Cox, James Rew, and George Hill. Tushar Deshpande contributed two wickets, and Tanush Kotian, Nitish Kumar Reddy, and Anshul Kamboj each claimed a wicket, helping restrict the opposition to 192/3. It was KL Rahul's century and a fine fifty by Dhruv Jurel that helped India A score 348. Although Rahul sat out the first warm-up match, he soon handled the conditions well in England, while Jurel kept scoring with another half-century. The Indian squad had a practice session at Lord's Cricket Ground. With head coach Gautam Gambhir and the new strength and conditioning coach Adrian Le Roux, the team was able to use the indoor areas. Although Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah worked out by playing football and throwing to batsmen in bowling drills, the others concentrated on serious cricket exercises. That session was the team's first time practicing in London since their arrival.

Aaron Judge shuts down Red Sox trash talk with thunderous home run that echoes through rivalry

Yankees' Aaron Judge makes Red Sox pitcher pay for trash talk with jaw-dropping home run (Imagn Images) Boston Red Sox rookie Hunter Dobbins found himself in hot water this weekend—not just from the heat of Yankee Stadium, but from the backlash his own words invited. Before taking the mound against the New York Yankees, the 25-year-old made headlines for declaring he would "retire" if the Yankees were the last team to offer him a contract. It was a comment that didn't sit well with Yankees manager Aaron Boone, and it certainly didn't go unnoticed by Aaron Judge. Red Sox pitcher mocks Yankees—Aaron Judge responds with towering home run in perfect revenge On Sunday, Dobbins was quickly introduced to the dangers of speaking too soon. After allowing a leadoff single to Ben Rice, Dobbins had to deal with the reigning American League MVP. Judge, never one to shy away from the moment, responded the best way he knows how—by launching a 97-mph fastball into orbit. The ball rocketed off his bat at 108.6 mph and soared 436 feet into right-center field. That marked Judge's 22nd home run of the season and a definitive exclamation point in a game that had only just begun. Dobbins's comment wasn't just bad timing—it may have been the perfect fuel for a Yankees lineup always looking for motivation. While it's understandable that rivalries bring out the emotion in young players, this was a classic case of words turning into bulletin board material. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like This Device Made My Power Bill Drop Overnight elecTrick - Save upto 80% on Power Bill Pre-Order Undo The Yankees didn't need to say much. Judge's swing said it all. Going forward, Dobbins might want to save the mic-drop moments for after the final out. When you poke the bear—especially one wearing pinstripes—don't be surprised if it bites back. On this day, Judge had the last word, and it echoed all the way into Boston.
