Leeds United's final six games of the regular Championship season begin at play-off chasing Middlesbrough on Tuesday night.Here are the key points from Leeds boss Daniel Farke's pre-match media conference:The German boss revealed defender Pascal Struijk (foot) will miss the game and Saturday's visit of Preston. The Reds will not be meeting the £126million price tag that Leverkusen have slapped on their sought-after star. But they are prepared to offer the Bundesliga outfit a guaranteed £100m, with the deal likely to eclipse the current British transfer record with add-ons. Talks are set to continue with a deal edging closer... Leverkusen eye Quansah There has been plenty of speculation that players could be included in a deal to get Wirtz over the line and Bayer Leverkusen have now been credited with an interest in Jarrel Quansah. Liverpool do not intend to stop their summer spending after signing Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz, eyeing up another big-money transfer. The Reds are doing anything but resting on their laurels after their impressive Premier League title win last season. Frimpong has already been brought in from Bayer Leverkusen in a £29.5m deal, while Wirtz is set to make the same trip in a club record signing due to be worth around £127m. The move for the German is a signal of intent from Liverpool, beating the likes of Manchester City and Bayern Munich to his signature, and they are ready to lay down another marker in the transfer market. The Sun report that Paris Saint-Germain forward Bradley Barcola is still a target for the Premier League champions this summer. The former Lyon man was on the bench for PSG's 5-0 demolition of Inter Milan in the Champions League final, only coming on for the last 27 minutes. He remained a regular in Luis Enrique's team as he made 58 appearances in all competitions over the campaign, just not necessarily in the starting XI. The front three of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue has taken prominence and suggests Barcola could now be available with a huge bid. Barcola will become the more achievable target if Newcastle stick to their huge asking price for Isak. With a substantial spending spree going on at Anfield, the Reds also need to sell players this summer. Tottenham, Aston Villa and Newcastle in race to sign £25m Man Utd star on loan
Tottenham, Aston Villa and Newcastle United are in the running to sign Jadon Sancho from Manchester United in the summer transfer window, according to reports. Chelsea confirmed on Wednesday that they are not taking up their £25 million permanent option to sign Sancho following his season-long stint at Stamford Bridge and have paid a £5m penalty fee to send him back to United. Sancho's future is now uncertain as it's understood that Ruben Amorim has no plans to integrate the 25-year-old into his squad for United's pre-season campaign. According to The Sun, Sancho has already attracted interest from three Premier League clubs with Spurs, Villa and Newcastle all keeping tabs on the winger's situation at Old Trafford. It's claimed that Villa will aim to secure a loan deal but United are looking for a permanent sale this summer. Chelsea, who is on a £300,000-a-week deal with United, had the option to sign Sancho permanently for a £25m fee but could not reach an agreement with the winger over personal terms. Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund have all but ruled out the prospect of re-signing Sancho this summer. More Trending Dortmund signed Sancho from Manchester City for £8m in 2017 and the winger enjoyed the best seasons of his career with the Bundesliga club before his £73m move to United in 2021. Sancho has been linked with a return to Dortmund this summer but the German club's sporting director, Sebastian Kehl, says the club have other priorities. 'Of course, contact with Jadon is always there, in some way, because we have a very long history,' Kehl told Ruhr Nachrichten. 'But that's not an issue for us right now.
