The warrant instructs Brown to post a $10,000 bond and to remain on house arrest until trial. Brown took to X to give his account of the incident, which happened in Miami's Little Haiti neighborhood on May 16. He notes that he was "jumped by multiple individuals who tried to steal my jewelry and cause physical harm to me. Contrary to some video circulating, police temporarily detained me until they received my side of the story and then released me.'' But now, according to the warrant, witnesses have told police officers that Brown was the shooter, and that two shell casings were found at the scene. One man involved in the conflict alleged that Brown "began to run toward him with a firearm" and shot at him twice. Brown's response? A series of tweets that include a photo of him in boxing gloves, another picture accusing somebody else who "did it,'' and a video of him riding a bike. 'What doesn't kill me makes me stronger,'' Brown wrote. "Wanna play? Then play hard.' Advertisement All of this marks the latest in a disturbing string of incidents tying Brown, 36, to legal and behavioral issues. A superstar during his years with the Pittsburgh Steelers before a 2019 trade to the Raiders, Brown found himself quickly dumped by that team, and then by the Patriots as well.
