'No sulking' for treble-chasing Rangers
Rangers manager Jo Potter insists her side are "not sulking" after their defeat to Hibs as they prepare for Sunday's Scottish Cup semi-final against Aberdeen. The Ibrox club slipped to second in the SWPL table after they were beaten 2-0 by title rivals Hibs at Meadowbank last weekend. But with the SWPL Cup already in the cabinet and a potential treble still on the table, Potter insists her side need to be fully focused on booking their place in next month's Scottish Cup final. "I'll be honest, it was a down couple of days, which I'd expect," she said. "I think they really felt the loss, which is not a bad thing from my perspective. But we really managed to dig into it and pick the bones of it. "We've spent quite a while looking at the game and looking at certain aspects of the game and what we didn't do so well."We tried to put it right this week and made a very clear point that there's a cut-off point. There's no sulking and feeling sorry for ourselves because we've got another big game to look ahead to for the weekend. "They've been great ever since after that first day back in. We've changed mindsets, we've looked positively at it and they've been really good in training."

Dessers would be icon if goals led to title, says Clement
Former Rangers manager Philippe Clement believes striker Cyriel Dessers would be an icon at the club had his goals led to a league title has scored 51 times in 109 games for the Ibrox side, including 18 in last season's Scottish the 30-year-old has never completely won over fans and pundits as a result of his sometimes erratic Clement feels the forward has been harshly treated."I think Cyriel got abused like nobody else at the club or on the pitch," he told BBC Scotland"But he was always there to work hard, to do everything for the club every day, every training session, every game."And also in this period in his career he never scored as many goals as he did at Rangers in the past teams he played with."So in the end he performed really well with his qualities and he was top scorer at the end of [last season]."Of course, fans always want more. I think if he would have played in a team who won the league then he would be a good player for everybody, but if you don't win the league then for the fans you are not a good player anymore."So that's life at Rangers and that's also the life fans can have. It's only as a club you need to see through things and you need to look at things rationally and not emotionally."Read more from BBC Scotland's interview with former Rangers boss Clement

£10m winger signs, Cerny returns, free agent joins - Rangers dream XI if transfer rumours are true amid 49ers takeover
The summer transfer window is a fast approaching, and Rangers transfer rumours are already well underway following the confirmed takeover of the club from the Andrew Cavanagh-led consortium involving 49ers Enterprises. While the appointment of a new manager will surely take precedent first, Rangers fans are already hopeful the new owners can dig deep in order to revamp a squad that finished a full 17 points adrift of Celtic in the Scottish Premiership title race. The departures of Ianis Hagi, Tom Lawrence and Leon Balogun have already been confirmed this summer, with the trio's contract at Ibrox coming to an end, while several names are already linked as potential incomings at Ibrox over the next few months. But what would Rangers starting XI come the first game of the season, scheduled for August 2, if the recent transfer rumours were true? Here, The Scotsman look at how Rangers dream starting XI could look if the rumours are accurate and true - though, that can never be guaranteed, as we know! 1 . GK: Jack Butland/Liam Kelly The two Rangers stoppers shared the goalkeeping responsibility last season and will battle it out to be the club's undisputed number one next season. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group Photo Sales 2 . RB: James Tavernier/Josh Mulligan The Gers skipper is entering the final year of his contract at Ibrox, but could be seen as a vital cog in Rangers new adventure due to his experience at the club. Meanwhile, the club have been credited with an interest in highly-rated Dundee right-back Josh Mulligan, who is available on a Bosman free transfer this summer. | Getty Images Photo Sales 3 . CB: John Souttar Another who is entering his final year at Ibrox, the club would like to tie the Scotland international to a new deal, with Souttar seen as a key player at Rangers. | SNS Group Photo: SNS Group Photo Sales 4 . CB: Harry Darling The Swansea City centre-back is out of contract in Wales this summer, and has been linked with a move to Rangers in recent weeks. Feel likes a real possibility, especially if Russell Martin is appointed as the club's new manager, with the head coach signing Darling for both MK Dons and Swansea during his time as manager at both clubs. | Getty Images Photo Sales
