EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 14-year-old boy was shot at least once and killed while sitting in the backseat of a vehicle in what Las Cruces Police are calling a road rage incident.
Las Cruces Police said that Alejandro Roman was shot and killed at about 9 p.m. Monday night, June 2 near the intersection of Solano Drive and Spruce Avenue.

No arrests have been made at this time.Life-saving measures were attempted, but Roman was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.Detectives are continuing their investigation and trying to determine the circumstances that led to the shooting. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call police at (575) 526-0795. Information can be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers of Las Cruces-Dona Ana County at 1-800-222-8477. Tips can also be provided through the Las Cruces Crime Stoppers app, 'P3 TIPS.' The app is available through the App Store on most devices.

Las Cruces Police: 14-year-old dead after alleged road rage shooting According to Las Cruces Police, the suspect is believed to be a male who was driving a white Honda Odyssey or a similar vehicle, such as a minivan or sport utility vehicle. Las Cruces Police said they have obtained the images of the suspect vehicle and are releasing them in hopes of someone recognizing the vehicle or the person who was driving the vehicle on the evening of the shooting. Anyone who has information on who might be responsible for the deadly shooting is asked to call police at (575) 526-0795. According to Las Cruces Police, Crime Stoppers of Las Cruces-Doña Ana County is offering a reward for information that leads to an arrest. To be eligible for the Crime Stoppers reward, tips must be sent to Crime Stoppers. Information can be shared anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. The two teens, 14-years-old and 16-years-old, were trying to sell clothes at a Bushwick Av-Aberdeen St subway station when a fight broke out, authorities say. Sources tell PIX11 News that one person said 'do we have a problem?' before the fight broke out. More Local News The 16-year-old was stabbed in the abdomen while the 14-year-old was punched in the face, police report. The 16-year-old was transported to a local hospital and is expected to survive. The suspects took the clothing the teens were trying to sell before fleeing the scene. MORRISANIA, the Bronx (PIX11) – A 17-year-old boy was shot just a half mile away from where a man was grazed by a bullet in separate incidents in the Bronx on Thursday, according to the NYPD. Police said the teenager was struck by a bullet in the right hip at the NYCHA Forest Houses around 10 p.m. Two suspects, one wearing all black and one wearing all gray, fled the shooting on Citi Bikes going west on Trinity Avenue, according to authorities. More Local News Police said just two minutes later, a man was grazed in the left arm by a bullet near East 161st Street and St. Anne's Avenue. Two suspects are also wanted in that shooting, according to authorities. Police said one was wearing a white shirt and gray shorts while the other wore a gray t-shirt and dark pants. They fled the shooting going north on St. Anne's Avenue, possibly on Citi Bikes, according to authorities.
