Shruti Haasan has always been open about her relationships, including her past with actor Michael Corsale and artist Santanu Hazarika. In a recent interview with Filmfare, she said she has no regrets and spoke about how people sometimes ask her, 'Which number boyfriend is this?"
When asked if there's anything she would change in her life, Shruti said she doesn't regret her choices but feels bad about hurting a few people who mattered to her. She said she made mistakes, but that's part of life, and now spends time saying sorry to those she may have hurt.
She said, 'I have hurt some people and I wish I didn't do that. Everything else, I have like zero regrets. I'm like, okay, I was a clown, it's fine. Just some people that were very valuable to me, I hurt them by mistake and I always now spend my time saying sorry for it."
Shruti Haasan shared that she often wishes she hadn't been so influenced by her relationships. She admitted this hasn't changed much over time. She said that while everyone has that one 'dangerous ex," she generally moves on without regret. Addressing comments about her dating life, she said, 'We all have that one dangerous ex, apart from that, I do close the chapter with no regrets. That's why when people say, oh, which number boyfriend is this? You're not understanding – for you it's a number, for me it's the number of times I failed at having the love I want. So, I don't feel bad about it…but I feel a little bad. Of course, I'm human."
Shruti Haasan said she doesn't blame her partner when a relationship ends because people change differently. She added that she's always been loyal and good in her relationships and doesn't feel the need to explain herself if she decides to move on.
Shruti Haasan was last seen in the 2023 films Veera Simha Reddy, Waltair Veerayya, The Eye, Hi Nanna, and Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. She is currently working on Coolie, Jana Nayagan, and Train.

Allu Arjun is currently working on his magnum opus venture, tentatively titled AA22xA6, with director Atlee. As the actor opted out of his movie with director Trivikram Srinivas, reports now suggest that the Sandeep Reddy Vanga project might also be shelved. According to a report by Filmfare, Sandeep has yet to begin production on the Prabhas-starrer Spirit. The much-awaited movie with the Rebel Star in the lead was delayed due to the actor's injuries and a clash with other shooting schedules. Now, as the film is inching closer to production, it has been noted that SRV will subsequently work on Animal Park with Ranbir Kapoor reprising his role as Ranvijay Singh. With the sequel film set to begin shooting in 2027, the director has a packed schedule. In light of this, reports seem to suggest that the Allu Arjun-Sandeep project is on the back burner for now. However, an official confirmation of this has yet to be made. Interestingly, Allu was recently reported to have opted out of the project with the director Trivikram Srinivas, which was supposed to be the actor's 23rd movie. On the other hand, Sandeep Reddy Vanga 's Spirit is a cop action drama with the Saaho actor playing an angry young police officer. Recently, it was announced that Triptii Dimri would play the female lead, with the rest of the casting still to be announced.
