Israeli strikes kill 103 across Gaza overnight, hospitals say
Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip killed at least 103 people overnight and into Sunday, hospitals and doctors in the battered enclave said, as Israel intensifies its war in the territory that, after more than 19 months, shows no signs of abating.
More than 48 people were killed in air strikes in and around the southern city of Khan Younis, some of which hit houses and tents sheltering displaced people, according to Nasser Hospital. Among the dead were 18 children and 13 women, hospital spokesperson Weam Fares said.
In northern Gaza, a strike on a home in the built-up Jabaliya refugee camp killed nine people from a single family, according to the Gaza health ministry's emergency services. Another strike on a family's residence, also in Jabaliya, killed 10, including seven children and a woman, according to the civil defence, which operates under the Hamas-run government.
The Israeli military had no immediate comment on the overnight strikes.
The bloodshed comes as Israel ramps up its war in Gaza with a new offensive named 'Gideon's Chariots,' in which Israel says it plans to seize territory, displace hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to Gaza's south and take greater control over the distribution of aid.

Israel says the new plan is meant to ramp up pressure on Hamas to agree to a temporary ceasefire on Israel's terms – one that would free Israeli hostages held in Gaza but wouldn't necessarily end the war. Hamas says it wants a full withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza and a pathway to ending the war as part of any new ceasefire deal.

At least 4 killed by Israeli fire near Gaza aid site, Palestinians say
Palestinian health officials and witnesses say at least four people were killed and others were wounded by Israeli fire around a kilometre (half-mile) from an aid distribution point in the Gaza Strip run by an Israeli and US-backed group. Israel's military said it fired warning shots at people who approached its forces. Palestinian witnesses said Israeli forces had fired on them at a roundabout in the nearby city of Rafah as they went to get food from a site run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. The Israeli military said it fired warning shots at people it said were suspects who had advanced toward its forces and ignored warnings to turn away. It said the shooting occurred in an area in southern Gaza that is considered an active combat zone at night. The GHF did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Deadly shootings near new aid hubs The past two weeks have seen frequent shootings near the new hubs where thousands of desperate Palestinians are being directed to collect food. Witnesses say nearby Israeli troops have opened fire, and more than 80 people have been killed, according to Gaza hospital officials. Israel's military has said it fired warning shots or, in some instances, near individuals approaching its forces.

Gaza doctors give own blood to patients after scores gunned down seeking aid
Doctors in the Gaza Strip are donating their own blood to save their patients after scores of Palestinians were gunned down while trying to get food aid, the medical charity Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) said on Thursday. 'People need the basics of life … they also need it in dignity,' MSF Switzerland's director general, Stephen Cornish, said at the protest. 'If you're fearing for your life, running with packages being mowed down, this is just something that is completely beyond everything we've ever seen,' he said. 'These attacks have killed dozens … They were left to bleed out on the ground.' Cornish said staff at one of the hospitals where MSF operates had to give blood as most Palestinians are now too poorly nourished to donate.
