
Man and woman found dead in Mount Pearl home, say police
Police say they are investigating after a man and woman were found dead in a Mount Pearl home over the weekend.
In a statement, the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary say they received a 911 call on Saturday at around 6:18 p.m. NT.
"Police entered the home and found a male and female deceased in the residence," said the statement released Sunday.
The cause of death was not specified.
It is being investigated by the RNC's major crimes unit and the chief medical examiner's office is involved.

One charged, minor injuries reported in rollover
The scene of a reported crash in Midland, Ont., on Wed., June 4, 2025. Police responded to a crash on Highway 12 near Jones road in Midland on Wednesday that resulted in a red SUV getting flipped upside down. Video supplied to CTV News by a viewer shows a red SUV upside down on the side of the road with its airbags deployed and emergency crews at the scene. According to Southern Georgian Bay OPP, one person was charged with careless driving and sustained minor injuries. The area was closed as crews worked on the scene and police say it will be reopened once the vehicle is extricated.

27-year-old man arrested for indecent exposure in Prince Albert
A 27-year-old Prince Albert man was arrested after he was found naked in public Tuesday afternoon. At around 4:45 p.m., police were called to the 900 block of 17th Street West for a report of a male that was naked in public, Prince Albert Police Service said in a news release. Shortly after, officers located the man naked in the 1100 block of 17th Street West, where he was arrested for indecent exposure. Police say the man, who was found to be breaching probation, has been charged with indecent acts.
