Axis Introduces Next-generation AI-powered Dome Cameras
Axis Communications has announced four robust AI-powered cameras offering outstanding image quality and forensic details in up to 8 MP, even in harsh weather and environments. Built on ARTPEC-9, they offer accelerated performance to run impressive analytics applications on the edge.AXIS Q3546-LVE and AXIS Q3556-LVE offer 4 MP resolution. They include a wide standard 10 mm lens or a 51 mm tele lens. In addition, AXIS Q3556-LVE has an acoustic sensor and AXIS Audio Analytics preinstalled. Users will be notified whenever something relevant happens, even when there's no visual indication. For instance, it can detect screams, shouts, as well as changes in sound level.There are also two 8 MP models available: AXIS Q3548-LVE and AXIS Q3558-LVE, where AXIS Q3558-LVE also includes an acoustic sensor with AXIS Audio Analytics.Built on ARTPEC-9, these AI-powered dome cameras offer accelerated performance and make it possible to run impressive analytics applications on the edge. For instance, they come with AXIS Object Analytics preinstalled to detect, classify, track, and count humans, vehicles, and types of vehicles. Made from high-grade aluminium, these robust, IK10-, IP66-, IP6K9K- and NEMA 4X-rated outdoor-ready cameras are both vandal- and impact-resistant. They have an operating temperature range from -55°C to 55 °C (-122 to 131°F). They can also be powered with DC and PoE to ensure power redundancy. What's more, Axis Edge Vault, a hardware-based cybersecurity platform, safeguards the device and offers FIPS 140-3 Level 3 certified secure key storage and operations.

eVoost AI secures seed funding from Qora71
eVoost AI, an Abu Dhabi-based proptech founded in 2024 by Cristian Pastrana, raised seed funding from Qora71, marking the syndicate's first lead investment. The startup uses emotional profiling and behavioural segmentation to deploy AI-powered virtual agents for real estate buyers, offering tailored property suggestions and analytics. Funds will go toward the global expansion of its digital sales infrastructure. Backed by Qora71's network of 114 angels, eVoost has signed $1.9B in GMV, entered talks for $1.5B more, and partnered with a UAE developer to run digital sales funnels across the US, Europe, and Latin America. As part of the partnership, Qora71 will support eVoost through its syndicate network of 114 angel investors to help the startup secure new projects and market penetration. 'eVoost's strong GMV at the seed stage, exclusive-contracts model, and experienced founding team were key factors in our decision to lead this round,' said Qora71 founder Youssef Salem. eVoost has already signed USD 1.9 billion in gross merchandise value (GMV), is in late-stage negotiations for an additional USD 1.5 billion, and has activated 197 real estate units across five projects. The company is also partnering with an Emirati developer to manage digital real estate sales funnels across the US, Europe, and Latin America. This marks Qora71's latest move in a string of proptech investments. The syndicate recently led the pre-seed round for Roomz and previously backed startups like Partment and Hotdesk, with additional deals in the pipeline, Salem noted.
