ESPN scheduled to report live from Colorado football's pro day

ESPN scheduled to report live from Colorado football's pro day Colorado football has been in the national spotlight since Deion Sanders took over the program in 2022. That spotlight won't be going away any time soon, despite Shedeu Sanders and Travis Hunter's departure to the NFL. Coach Prime confirmed with reporters last week that in addition to the Big 12 Pro Day, which went down last week, Colorado would host a pro day event of its own. The event will take place on April 4 from the indoor practice facility on Colorado's campus. On Monday morning, ESPN released their upcoming month of pre-NFL draft coverage, and Colorado's pro day was one of six that will be broadcast or reported live by ESPN. Although it does not look like the entire event will be broadcast live, ESPN will have live reports and SportsCenter updates from Boulder. The announcement is not surprising, considering that ESPN2 announced last week that it will show the entirety of Colorado's Black & Gold spring game. Colorado joins Penn State as the two programs feature live reporting, while ESPN will broadcast Miami, Texas, LSU, and Ole Miss pro days. Colorado's pro day should be a must-watch for draft fans and analysts alike. Travis Hunter, Shedeur, and Shilo Sanders are expected to take part in on-field drills. Other players who will likely be on hand include wide receivers Jimmy Horn Jr., LaJohntay Wester, and Will Sheppard; safety Cam'Ron Silmon Craig; defensive end BJ Green II; and defensive tackle Chidozie Nwankwo, among others.
