Stacey Solomon is 'regretting tell-all TV show with husband Joe Swash'

Stacey Solomon is reportedly having second thoughts over her BBC rreality TV show with husband Joe Swash. Stacey & Joe aims to lift the curtains of the famous couple's life at their £1,200,000 mansion in Essex, Pickle Cottage, as they juggle parenting with their busy careers. It also stars their youngest children, Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two, Stacey's first son with ex-boyfriend Dean Cox, Zach, 17, and her son Leighton, 12, with ex-fiancé Aaron Barnham. However, it has been claimed the Loose Women star, 35, is regretting being candid in The Kardashians-style tell-all show over the presentation of her and Joe's personalities. A source told The Sun: 'Stacey is regretting signing up to do the show. She's not used to the backlash they are getting as everything she touches normally turns to gold.' The inside claimed Stacey was struggling with negative comments concerning arguments arising from Joe's time mangement issues and her love of organisation. Joe, 42, was previously the subject of Stacey & Joe viewers' ire after he returned home five hours late after a fishing trip, forcing her to simultaneously attend to an important business meeting and crying children. They added: 'She feels like she is coming across as bossy. He can't manage anything without her, so she is forced to be the 'grown up'. It's caused friction.' Metro has contacted Stacey and Joe's reps for comment. In Stacey & Joe, the couple are filmed attending a therapy session with counsellor Natalie Corbett during which they have a tense exchange about communication in their marriage. In the scenes, former I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Joe tells his wife: 'All I am doing is trying to dedicate myself to my family and do everything I possibly can, every minute of the day. 'Then to sit here and listen to the fact that I am a huge problem — all I am hearing is that I am a huge problem in Stacey's perfect life.' Stacey then replies: 'I would say this is our biggest issue in our whole relationship. 'I cannot say anything without you taking it so personally as an attack on you as a whole person.' After the session, the pair raised their voices in a row outside the clinic with Stacey being pulled into a hug by a colleague as she buried her head in their shoulder. Joe previously explained that it was 'important' for Stacey & Joe viewers to have an authentic portray of their relationship – warts and all. He told Closer: 'So many people represent their lives as being so perfect on Instagram. It's our responsibility to show the real – the highs and the lows. It's not all a bed of roses. Sometimes we argue.' More Trending Stacey also admitted they weren't the 'perfect couple.' She told OK!: 'What you see is what you get. What we've learnt about each other is that we're not a perfect couple. We've never said we're a perfect couple, but you get to watch yourself back, which is something that doesn't happen often.' Stacey and Joe first met in 2010 when she won I'm A Celebrity, while he presented the spin-off show. They started dating in 2016 and married at their home in 2022. Stacey Solomon reveals £1 transformation of grubby kitchen unit she found on Facebook Marketplace so it looks brand new

STACEY Solomon gave fans a sneak peek at her vegetable patch at her £1.2million Pickle Cottage and showed off a unit she picked up from Facebook Marketplace. The secondhand item - which featured drawers and a sink - looked in need of some TLC, and Stacey had a £1 hack for sprucing it up. 5 5 5 5 She revealed that the trick to making it look brand new and removing any streaky marks from the top is nail varnish. While she used Modelones, which costs £9.99 from Amazon, you can achieve similar results with one from the likes of Poundland for £1. Stacey showed the unit in her garden and wrote: 'Getting bits done. 'Cleaning up the worktop I got off Facebook Marketplace.' She showed how she applied a bit of the nail varnish remover to a Scrub Daddy sponge and buffed away any marks. Doing her famous 'tap to tidy', she showed the jaw-dropping before and after results. While the cabinet had looked dirty and old when she got it, Stacey's £1 trick had left it looking gleaming and pristine. Stacey added: 'I'm sorry but how satisfying. 'My arms have had a work out but worth it!' This comes as Stacey and Joe Swash have 'risked their reality show being axed' after being accused of breaking strict BBC rules. Stacey Solomon risks wrath of BBC bosses by ''using new reality show to cash in' The star and husband Joe Swash, 43, have thrown open the doors to their home for the cameras, for a fly-on-the-wall look into their family life with their five kids. But the fan-favourite pair risk the wrath of Corporation bosses, by plugging their products while on the show. In one scene, Stacey, 35, tells the cameras: 'I'm going to be trying on my last summer collection. I have brand partnerships and design different things for those brands. Anything from homeware to clothing lines.' And she also teased plans for her own perfume brand, telling viewers: 'I've wanted to do this for so long now. Creating a perfume. I would love to sort of create scents from Pickle Cottage that really make me happy.' Stacey has also namechecked her haircare brand and homeware range, and hubby Joe has cooking account and family coffee company. But this all breaks editorial rules to plug commercial deals on air, as they clearly state: 'No on-air talent should promote products, goods, services or clothing they use on air.' The rules go on to say that this includes anything they have 'agreed, or been contracted, to promote or in which they have financial interest.' BBC spokesperson said: 'Stacey & Joe is a reality series following the daily lives of the couple which includes their work. All commercial relationships featured are made clear to the audience and only included where editorially justified.' Inside Stacey Solomon's Pickle Cottage STACEY Solomon splashed out a massive £1.2million on Pickle Cottage - and Joe Swash didn't put in a penny. She solely stumped up the cash for their Tudor-style Essex property, which is set in 2.5 acres and boasts an outdoor swimming pool. The former X Factor star and Joe live there with Zachary, Leighton, Rex, Rose, and Belle. It's not known why Stacey went alone, as ex-EastEnders actor Joe is reportedly worth over £1million, but has also been made bankrupt twice in 2009 and 2013. Shrewd Stacey has shown she's a dab hand at running a wide range of successful businesses including TV, books, clothing and homeware ranges. Her main firm Key Map Entertainments is worth just shy of £3million - and she's also branched out into cosmetics. The former X Factor contestant registered the company Belle & Rose Ltd, named after her youngest two daughters.

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash 'risk breaching BBC rules' on reality show

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash's new BBC reality series, Stacey & Joe, has proven to be popular with viewers, but has risked breaking a stern rule of the organisation Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash's actions have been questioned just four episodes into their new BBC reality series. The duo have been baring all on the small screen about their life in Pickle Cottage with their five kids. However, it's thought the duo's behaviour on the show could land them in hot water. The series, titled Stacey & Joe, has proven to be popular so far, with over three million viewers for each episode. The show is billed by the BBC as offering "loads of love and laughs" and showcasing the "beautiful chaos of life at Pickle Cottage". ‌ And it's reported the duo might be risking the wrath of Corporation bosses due to a number of their personal promotional deals seemingly being flaunted on air. According to rules, "no on-air talent should promote products, goods, services or clothing they use on air". ‌ Among those included is anything they have "agreed, or been contracted, to promote or in which they have financial interest". However, the couple have been shown talking about Stacey's homeware range as well as a haircare brand she's invested in. In the very first episode she also talks about an unnamed clothing line as she films content for her Instagram. "I'm going to be trying on my last summer collection," she says. "I have brand partnerships and design different things for those brands. Anything from homeware to clothing lines." Joe is later filmed cooking for his own Instagram - presumably for his own Lidl range. He tells the camera: "We have the social media team come round once a month and we'll just do all of the cooking content and then we'll drip feed it on my Instagram through the month." Other content queries include a scene in which the Loose Women panellist is seen filming hosting a launch party for her ASDA homeware products. In a statement shared with the Daily Mail, the BBC defended showcasing the brand work. A spokesperson said: "Stacey & Joe is a reality series following the daily lives of the couple which includes their work. ‌ "All commercial relationships featured are made clear to the audience and only included where editorially justified." The series is set to run for six episodes. It isn't likely to share Stacey's recent heartbreaking story regarding their family pet, Teddy. The dog recently suffered a medical emergency, leaving the former X Factor star in tears as she updated her fans on his condition. Earlier this month she told followers her and her five children were "truly devastated" with the news Teddy "might not ever fully recover". Stacey revealed how the pet pooch "lost the use of his back legs" on Good Friday, leaving the family in turmoil. She admitted the animal hadn't shown any signs of pain before the scary incident. She went on to explain how the family dog had suffered a burst disc before sharing how vets described all of his spine as "not looking good at all," with all of the discs looking "really worn".
