The store itself opens at 7 a.m. and closes at 11 p.m. each day of the week.
The pharmacy will operate weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The website also said the pharmacy will be closed on Sundays.
This grand opening comes after crews broke ground on its third location last June. This groundbreaking completed the initial development in phase one of a two-phase development.
In 2023, Huntsville City Council approved the development of the grocery retailer. Food City's total investment is around $90 million to build a total of six stores and create 1,350 jobs over the course of five years.
The phases of development for the locations are as follows:
Hampton Cove
North Memorial Parkway
U.S. 72 East
Downtown Huntsville
Alabama 53
County Line Road
All Food City locations will also offer additional retail space for lease to create new retail centers.
