Boardwalk in New Jersey named best in America
WILDWOOD, N.J. (PIX11) – A boardwalk in New Jersey has been named the best in the United States.
The Wildwoods Boardwalk in South Jersey won Best Boardwalk in USA Today's 10Best Readers' Choice Awards 2025 competition.

'Originally a 150-yard boardwalk at its inception in the 1890s, the boardwalk in Wildwoods, New Jersey, now stretches for 38 blocks and is packed with shops, restaurants, bars, water parks, and an amusement pier featuring over 100 attractions,' USA Today wrote.
Other boardwalks in New Jersey also placed in the top 10. The Atlantic City Boardwalk was ranked No. 6, while the Ocean City Boardwalk was ranked No. 8.
The boardwalks were all nominated by a panel of experts and then voted on by the public.
'This recognition is truly special because it comes from the visitors, residents, and fans of the Wildwoods who cherish our boardwalk,' said Louis Belasco, the executive director of the Greater Wildwoods Tourism Improvement and Development Authority. 'We're thrilled that visitors celebrate The Wildwoods and our boardwalk as a premier gem of the Jersey Shore.'
