Sultan of Oman Receives the Ruler of Sharjah at Al Alam Palace - Jordan News
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the sisterly Sultanate of Oman received his brother, His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, on Thursday morning at Al Alam Palace in the Omani capital, Muscat. اضافة اعلان At the start of the meeting, His Majesty Sultan Haitham warmly welcomed His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and his accompanying delegation, affirming the deep-rooted relations that bind the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman, along with their brotherly peoples. His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, to his brother, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, along with his wishes for continued progress and prosperity for Oman and its brotherly people. His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq praised the efforts of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah across various cultural fields and his initiatives that contribute to preserving the Arab cultural heritage and identity and documenting its history. His Majesty also commended the Ruler of Sharjah's recent historical achievement, The Portuguese in the Sea of Oman: Events in Chronicles from 1497 to 1757, considering it a significant addition and valuable enrichment to both Arab and global libraries. For his part, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq for the generous hospitality and warm reception, lauding the renaissance witnessed by the Sultanate of Oman under His Majesty's leadership.
