The actor is currently ruling the OTT space with the popular web series, Panchayat. In the series, Raghubir Yadav, who plays the role of 'Brij Bhushan Dubey', 'Pradhan-Pati', is hailed for his versatility. However, the road to success was not easy for Raghubir as he struggled a lot to earn his name and fame. Let us delve into some unknown aspects of Raghubir's life. Hailing from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, Raghubir Yadav is a proud graduate of the National School of Drama. He began his artistic journey in theatre, performing in more than 70 plays and over 2,500 stage shows. Today, he is considered one of the most respected figures in the entertainment world. However, his early life was far from conventional. after failing his 11th-grade exams, Raghubir left home in pursuit of a career in music, embracing a nomadic lifestyle in the process. During his time with the Parsi Theatre Company, Raghubir Yadav lived in makeshift tents. As per a report by Navbharat Times, he once drove bullock carts and grazed buffaloes to make ends meet. There were times he went hungry for days, moving from place to place like a wanderer to continue performing in shows. His perseverance eventually paid off when he landed his breakthrough role in the television series Mungerilal Ke Haseen Sapne in 1994, where he played the titular character. He also later portrayed the iconic lead role in the beloved series Chacha Chaudhary. Yadav made his film debut with Massey Sahib and went on to appear in several acclaimed films such as 1942: A Love Story, Aaja Nachle, Delhi-6, Peepli Live, Gandhi to Hitler, among others. Over the years, he has shared screen space with Bollywood's biggest stars, Shah Rukh Khan in Maya Memsaab, Aamir Khan in Lagaan, Salman Khan in Khamoshi: The Musical, and Deepika Padukone in Piku. Up next, Raghubir will reprise his role in the much-awaited Panchayat Season 4.

Actor Rukhsar Rehman, who made her debut as a teenager in 1992, quit the film business after getting married at the age of 17. Because her family had decided that she would no longer take on more work, she had to turn down offers to star in movies that went on to become classics. In an interview, Rukhsar said that she missed out on the opportunity to work with Mani Ratnam in Roja, with Vidhu Vinod Chopra in 1942: A Love Story, and opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the film Baazigar. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, Rukhsar reflected on the two innings of her career – she rejoined the film industry in 2005 – and admitted that she was particularly disappointed about losing out on a few opportunities. She also declined to shed more light on why her father didn't allow her to continue working after marriage, and said that since he isn't around to offer his side of the story, it would be unfair to speak on his behalf. He came from a different world; he was an IAS officer… The film industry gave him a culture shock. It had nothing to do with my safety; he just couldn't handle it.' She said that while she never felt like her world had crumbled, but she certainly regretted certain missed opportunities, such as working with Vidhu Vinod Chopra in a movie that went on to become a classic of Hindi cinema. 'I was offered Manisha Koirala's role, but she did a fabulous job. It's an amazing film,' Rukhsar said. She said that she never voiced her dissatisfaction to her father, who passed away a decade ago. She admitted that she wanted to ask him why she was pulled out of the business, but she never got around to it. 'He was an intimidating man,' she said. Asked about Roja, she said, 'My first thought after watching the movie was, 'I could've seen snowfall for the first time'.' Rukhsar said that most of these discussions were conducted between the producers and her dad, and that they lived in a hotel during the entire time that she was in Mumbai. She admitted that her career would be in a different place had she done all these movies.
