She's an A-list actress known for sharing racy pictures and her impeccable style - but before fame this star had a VERY different look... so, can you tell who it is?
Liz Hurley may be more known for her memorable 1994 Versace safety pin dress which shot her to fame - but the supermodel also had a little known 'punk' era to deter unwanted male attention when she was younger.
In throwback snaps, the gorgeous 60-year-old, who has continued to maintain an enviable figure over the years, is barely recognisable as she sports bright bleached hair spiked up with gel, heavy smudged eyeliner and a series of piercings.
The photos, which were taken in the 1980s when the star would have been in her teens, show her attempts to look undesirable.
'I think what happened is that so many men took an interest, I wanted to make myself look as ghastly as possible,' Liz told the Sun in 2011. 'I did not want them to whistle any more.'
The model confessed it was also a way for her to fit in at school, with pupils who 'made fun of her posh accent'.
''That was part of my rebellion - and fitting in with the others.'
Explaining that she used to hang out with the 'local punks' - who were 'were all unemployed or builders', Liz added they were banned from 'most pubs'.
And her mother was seemingly not best pleased.
'The thing I regret about those punk days was that my mother said if I took my nose ring out, she would let me have driving lessons,' she recounted. 'Of course, after that, I could not possibly take it out!'
She also reflected the highlight of her youth, spent in Basingstoke, was staying the night in a London train station.
We were terribly daring, having to miss the last train home so we could sleep at Waterloo station,' Liz added.
'It was the most exciting thing in the world - I can't think why. I am sure I became quite horrid to live with.'
Eventually, the model moved to London - where she put her punk days behind her to get work.
Her first accommodation was a 'hideous bedsit in Finsbury Park'.
'I did not know it was a dodgy area at the time. Besides, I probably looked so frightening myself, no one came near me,' she added.
'I finally realised I was not going to get work unless I took out my nose ring and dyed my hair black.
'I'm afraid the nose ring actually went through my nose, much to every make-up artist's fury in the first few years.'
Liz went on to land small acting roles and gigs - but it wasn't until she struck up her romance with Hugh Grant that she soared to fame.
The British actress made headlines when she stepped out for the 1994 premiere of our Weddings And A Funeral with her then-boyfriend in a daring cut-out dress - putting her name on the map.
Speaking in a Disney+ Vogue documentary in May, Liz shared how she came to wear such a risque £3,000 Versace dress for the evening - and how she dealt with the huge reaction.
'I must have been photographed 800,000 billion times that night. The next day we were on the front page of every newspaper, we were like "What the hell is this?",' she recounted.
'I remember I was just looking at it thinking "What' then going "Well it was actually a pretty daring dress wasn't it?".'
On how she came to wear such a huge designer so early in her career, Liz explained: 'I knew I had to have a dress and somebody said "I know someone who's got a PR firm and they might be able to help you" so on the day of we rang and said "Do you have anything" and they said "We've got one dress".
'And I was like "Well alright I'd love to borrow it, if I can get into it." So I went on the tube to get the dress, which was handed to me in a little white plastic bag.'
The actress and model took the Tube to pick up her infamous black Versace number held together with large gold safety pieces.
She said: 'I'd never heard the name Versace before and it looked pretty precarious.
'But I remember touching my toes and stretching up in it, and nothing moved, so I galloped down the stairs and that was that.'
It comes as Liz currently surprised fans as she confirmed a relationship with Billy Ray Cyrus.
The couple caught their fans off guard when they revealed they were together, sharing a sexy snap on Easter day and have been flaunting their happy relationship ever since.
She later revealed the true depth of her feelings for new boyfriend, sharing a very loved-up snap of them packing on the PDA to Instagram in May.
And the model revealed it's true love as she took to the comments sharing a black heart emoji before writing 'you xx'.
And Elizabeth has the full support of her son as Damian also commented on the snap as he penned: 'Awwww ❤️.'
Their unexpected romance comes just over two years after the pair fatefully met on the set of their 2022 holiday movie Christmas in Paradise, which was shot in the Caribbean.
Billy Ray broke his silence over his new relationship while appearing on Apple Music Country's The Ty Bentli Show.
The singer, who finalised his divorce from ex Firerose in August 2024, revealed Liz was there for him difficult period in his life.
'I felt like, ''Wow, can life get any harder? Can it get any tougher?'' For me, at a certain point it was like, you can't get knocked down any flatter than laying on your back when life is kicking you,' he explained.
'And in this moment... a friend reached out.'
According to Billy, Liz's message read something along the lines of: '"Hey, it looks like life might be a little bit tough and just wanted you to know I'm in your corner; you've got a friend in your corner."'
Upon getting her text, the father-of-five admitted he 'didn't even know the number'.
He shared: 'So, I text back, I go, "Who is this?" And it's like, "Elizabeth Hurley." Of all the people to reach out to me in that second that maybe I needed most… this friend who made me laugh.'
Although they hadn't spoken in 'two years' after wrapping their holiday film, Billy instantly remembered 'there was a chemistry' between them on set during their 'very few scenes together'.
'We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn't laughing a lot,' he noted.
'The oddest part was first, how much we laughed. Second, I figured we were so different but in some very strange way we had way more in common than we had different.'
Christmas in Paradise was shot in the Caribbean, and was filmed not long after he separated from ex-wife Tish in April 2022 after 28 years of marriage.
He went on to have a short-lived relationship with Firerose but he filed for divorce in May 2024 after seven months of marriage.
The friendship seemed to turn into something more after the Strictly Confidential star reached out to her former co-star after his divorce from ex Firerose in 2024.
In early April, Liz dropped a big clue about the romance when she uploaded a reel of herself on Instagram frolicking on the beach with Billy's 'She's Not Cryin' Anymore playing beneath it and tagging the singer.
