Former Clemson wide receiver returns to the Birmingham Stallions

Former Clemson star wide receiver Deon Cain is heading back to the USFL, where he was one of the stars of the league. Cain is making his USFL return to his former team before he headed back to the NFL, the Birmingham Stallions. The Stallions are far and away the top dog in the USFL, winning the last three championships. While Cain was present for their most recent win, he was a top performer in the 2024 UFL Championship and the 2023 USFL Championship. In 2023, Cain was the USFL Championship game MVP with three touchdown. In his last stint with the Stallions, Cain recorded 726 all-purpose yards, with 33 receptions, 436 receiving yards and three receiving touchdowns. Cain spent time with the Bills, Ravens, Eagles, Panthers, and Steelers, appearing in 15 career games with nine receptions for 124 yards. In college, he was a key downfield threat for Clemson from 2015-17, totaling 130 catches for 2,040 yards and 20 touchdowns. After briefly returning to the Bills in 2023, he now joins the Birmingham Stallions, where he reunites with former Clemson players Mario Goodrich, Joseph Ngata, and Amari Rodgers.
